Kevin De Bruyne and Cancelo to feed Erling Haaland then. England slowly becoming the farmers league.

De Bruyne and Cancelo? The players with the same amount of assist this season as Brian Mbeumo! lol.

City getting Haaland makes little difference to us. The same points are available at the start and we can only effect them by getting 6 points.

City previously had aguero and were beatable and aguero was one of the best strikers in the league if not the world.

I don't argue they will score more goals but they will still drop points and city go from having 1 striker that pep chooses not to use to 2. And for all we know haaland could get injured in the first gane and they are back to where they are now.

So I'm far from throwing in the towel next season before a ball is kicked!

Agree doesn’t bother me much
He’s not as great as Aguero and is even more injury prone than Aguero
They did score more goals if he played
But will he also reduce their build up play?
We’ll see.

Harry must have got his wired crossed and posted on this forum rather than the City forum.

Things that do strike me about Haaland are that he tends to score in twos and threes against lower opponents, seems to struggle against better sides, also Pep failed to get the best out of Ibrahimovic, a very similar player physically to Haaland. Let’s hope this is another failed Mancunian vanity project like Grealish/ Pogba/ Sancho.
