Carvalho looks to be a given so it would just be a RW, CM and RB needed to provide 2 good options for each position. Dembele on a free would be great, appreciate he hasn't been great for Barcelona but he is only 24 and with Klopp's guidance could be fantastic. Bellingham would be ideal along with a another good RB - Walker Peters or Lamptey. With over 60 games per season potentially there is no longer the argument of being a 'backup' anymore as its a squad game. With Minamino, AOC, Karius and Origi all being sold, the overall cost for this wouldn't be enormous and would mean we would have 2 quality players for every position. These signings are also s4 or younger so would help pull the age down with others now in there 30s. Simples.

I'm a big fan of lamptey when he's on form, but even if we are playing 60 games every season trent is going to start 90% of then. How many games has tsimikas started this season even with robbos injury at the start?

If salah stays we need to buy a quality midfielder, trust in phillips/ neco Williams to cover rb for a year.

Bellingham not moving this window, apparently, would also cost 100m+.

Dembele would want £400k a week.

Absolutely no way Walker-Peters or Lampty move to play second fiddle for Trent.

Would love Bellingham, though!

OP, I would pick Walker-Peters over Lamptey cos he is the better all round footballer offensively and defensively than Lamptey who is pretty poor defensively, IMO.

Gomez covering RB suits me fine, notwithstanding any interest from elsewhere and if Liverpool would be open to selling him (which I hope they’re not) .

Neither of those players are going to come to play second fiddle, the club should be integrating the youth or buy a utility player like Milly again if he leaves personally think if Gomez does go for a good chunk seppy should be used as 4/ 5 choice CB and second choice RB.

Personally I would look at Dembele. Klopp loves him and if we can agree a contract with he would be a great buy, but would also see the end of at least Firmino and possibly Mane.

Stay clear of Ousmane Dembele as far as I am concerned.

I'd rather take a look at Agibou Camara (not sure if he can play right wing but he's very flexible), Moussa Diaby, Antony and Raphinha first.

However, if Salah signs a new deal and we have talents like Harvey Elliott, Fabio Carvalho and Kaide Gordon to nurture, I wonder whether we really need a right winger.

Or perhaps we look for a right winger/ right no8/ right back hybrid type instead?

Or maybe we have accepted that Salah is leaving.
Curious.

Calvin Ramsay Aberdeen - 2nd choice RB, 18 years old, excellent prospect.

Nobody at Anfield would understand an Aberdonian accent - including Robbo.
