Mane has not only won the AFCON he has just scored the penalty that has taken Senegal to the world cup.

Once again commiseration's to Salah such a shame he won't be going to the world cup.

I only hope his form does not take a turn for the worse as we need him to be in top form if we are to achieve a trophy laden season.

Tbh it seems like a lifetime since liverpool last played and i for one cannot wait for the game against watford.

I'm not a supporter of either nation but that game was a disgrace, the Egyptian players had multiple lasers pointed in their faces the entire game. Blatant cheating from the home supporters.

The Egyptian fans shined lasers at the Senegalese players in a previous match. There’s a nobhead contingent in every bunch of supporters and it’s up to the authorities to crack down on them - they should have automatic lifetime bans.

Just for additional context:
Whenever you play an Egyptian club in the CAF champions league, their fans would’ve the lasers in your eyes all game long. And they did that to the Senegalese players in the 1st leg.
This was about paying them back in their own coin. CAF never had an issue with it, so all is fair in love and war.
