This period also saw record-breaking kit sales with the new Nike partnership and mobile transactions increased by 89 per cent on the club’s online retail store. Three new physical stores were opened in Thailand and Singapore.

On the pitch, 12 new players signed for the club during this financial period, which included bringing in world-class talent like Diogo Jota and Thiago Alcantara, while 12 player contracts were renewed, including Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Harvey Elliott.

{Ed002's Note - And the debt?}

The debt doesn’t count Ed02 - that would be a lot harder to rationalise so we aren’t going to think about that.

Ed002 the article I copy and pasted this from mate conveniently left out the debt part.

Probably similar to me when i answer my wife’s question on “how was your night out” 👀.

Have the club even announced the debt amount yet?

As ed2 says - this is why we don’t talk about finances as we don’t understand them!

I don’t think they have to make the debt public do they?

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool have to provide accounts.}

Debt? It’s all part of the plan. When we win the Quadruple, LFC will go into liquidation and the new Club “UFC” will be born.
Unbearable Football Club will wear only medals as it’s football Kit attire, and singing at the stadium will be replaced by bowing.
The only part of old Liverpool that will remain is the YNWA club slogan, which now stands for “You’ll Never Win ALL4TrophieslikeWEdidBACKin2022”
Gini Wijnaldum is captain.

And that’s why we don’t discuss money topics on these boards.

Except when Liverpool are"low-balling"clubs.

Accounts have been filed but haven't yet turned up on Companies House. Usually takes a week or so - you'll be able to better assess the financial position then (including debt) .

The debt is being managed and is manageable. Liverpool are very well run by highly experienced operators. They are not Mel Morris. Fans do not need to worry about it. And the debt is tiny in comparison to clubs like ManU and Chelsea.

{Ed002's Note - The debt is about half of Manchester United. Chelsea do not have debt per se as loans to the club were exchanged for equity. Probably best to ignore the finances.}
