I know there are 13 games to go, but seen a few comments about it's still city's to lose.
No, it's ours to win. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we win all our remaining games we win it? With the goals were scoring we'd likely have a better GD than city. I know 13 on the trot on top of our recent run is near impossible, but it's the same for them.

I still think City will win the league. We will be winning the UCL and Carabao however.

OP, it could go either way at this point and that would still be the case even if we win the Leeds game.

Also remember that a lot of these pundits already gave City the title weeks ago so of course they will stick to their guns come hell or high water even after the facts have clearly changed. It’s an ego thing with them at this point as well, man.

Let’s just enjoy the ride, every game in every tournament is a must win…. let’s hope it results in some silverware.

It’s going to be very close but watch city recently even the games they have won a lot of the opening goals have been gifted to them.
I think there lack of goal scorers might be the difference in are favour. The start and middle of the season when teams play city and just don’t want to be hammered changes in this part of the season when teams need a win and nothing else is good enough. With City I can see games like yesterday happening a lot more totally Dominant but just not scoring the goals they was lucky to get the 2 goals they got yesterday and spurs should have had more.
But we do have some big games to play but if we can win are next 2 Leeds and Chelsea in the cup final I do think we are going to take some stopping.

I agree it’s in our hands but equally it’s in their hands and it’s not the same for them as they can afford to draw our game.

It will be tough and our fixture list isn’t easy but it will be a good battle and hopefully we can go on another big run.

It will be very difficult to topple city ( to be honest I thought it was gone few weeks ago) but when this club/ team get on a roll with the massive backing of fans we are very hard to stop. we will need luck with injuries (surly we due a bit on that front) same as everybody else but we will be hard beaten in every competition we in. Signing Diaz has been brilliant boost for fans, club, team, u can see it has give everybody lift. Not to mention how good a player he looks.

Considering the barrel we were staring down at the start of Jan compared to now is testament to Klopp, the coaches, the players and lastly but not least the fans.

The pressure seems to be on City whilst yesterday we seemed to just shift through the gears to get a win despite going behind over panicking.

That’s 2 games in a row now the bench has technically come on and changed the game for us.

Just remember City and Pep had been found out in Nov 20 and then they went on to win the league.

Whoever lifts the 22 title will have thoroughly deserved it. As much as we say without us City would have turned the premier league into a farmers league but also without them we probably would have as well over the last 4 years.

What a great season this has been so far but I’m sure Klopp and the players are literally taking it 1 game at a time. Next up is Leeds and then we have the Mickey Mouse cup final or as it’s known this season a big domestic cup final to win 🤣.

Burkeyboy your statement is correct. It is now finally back in our hands. Win all of our remaining league games, and maintain our average goals per game ratio and it is ours.

No if, no bits. It doesn’t matter if anyone still thinks City will win it, or we will drop points, that is not what he said. And the pundits have it wrong, it is no longer just City’s to win.

They now have competition and will not be looking forward to our game at the Etihad, where they have now lost twice this season.

What a great end to the season we have unfolding. Next game Leeds - will be tough but I think the boys have the wind in their sails following the turnaround yesterday. Eunice was a breath of fresh air for us.

9.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 10:39:14
As I said before we just need to focus on winning our games. I wouldn’t even be talking about the title tbh, no need to add the extra pressure. Means nothing if we don’t beat Leeds. Start thinking about the league in April when we go to City if we are still within touching distance or ahead of them.

10.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 10:46:56
We are yet to play Arsenal (away), City (away) UTD (home) and Chelsea (Home) . Why do you think we would in them all?

11.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 07:11:59
Strange you still find a reason to doubt Buzzer. Going by your name, shouldn't you be buzzing? 😂 I think we have a huge chance now but whether or not we take it is down to us but I expect that both teams will drop points and the title goes to the wire. No 20 will be a cloud 9 experience though.

12.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 11:05:32
It's still very very difficult to win the league, I'm just hoping our boys show more hunger like us fans. Coz before Norwich scoring we had no urgency and were very very comfortable. I'm sure city are going to drop more points before we play them on April it's just on us how hungry our players are tbh.

13.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 11:10:44
We have played Chelsea twice already. If we are involved in April then I'll be happy that's all you can ask going into a season with the resources city have. Would have bit your hand off for the position we are jn now in august.

14.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 11:10:50
Its not a case of thinking if its won or not, its definitely not. But it is in our hands. One game at a time but we have a chance and it's there to win.

We now have a title race, let's just enjoy it and whoever finishes top will deserve if come may. Majority of us know what it's like to be out of the race by this point so let's enjoy it, it's not always like this!

15.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 11:15:33
Transition_Time, we’ve played Chelsea at home already.

We beat arsenal away without mane and salah this season and beat man united 5-0 in their own backyard. So it’s understandable why we would be confident in those games.

Not saying it won’t be difficult but we should feel confident. The city game will be obviously be tough. No one here is suggesting we’re guaranteed to win it but given the gloom of the festive period, to have it back in our hands is a reason to be excited.

16.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 11:16:31
Transition We have not got to play Chelsea in the league again. We do have to play City away and Arsenal but we did just beat Arsenal away with with 4 of a first team missing and 17 year old kid in place of Salah against there best 11 just about and it was a fairly straight forward victory.
Kane came back to haunt City yesterday a striker they could have signed lest hope lightning strikes twice a Ronaldo does the same when they play each other.

17.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 11:21:00
If we win every game in every competition till the end of the season, this will be the greatest squad the English league has ever seen 😂 quadruple still on.

18.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 11:38:59
In all of these back and forth, let's remember to join StEtienne and thank Eunice!
That's all I got to say!

19.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 11:43:32
As much as am enjoying this fight with city for us to win the prem I’d say city would have to drop more points because I just can’t see us winning all 13 games with Tottenham, Man U, city and Everton still in there to play. If it did happen it would be truly unbelievable. Every game is going to be heart failure till the end!

20.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 11:45:14
It is City’s to lose, they’re in the box seat, they have previous for going on long wins and we have been inconsistent this season. Even if we win our game in hand we’re still 3 points behind we’re relying on winning all of our games and city dropping at least 4 points as they’ve got better goal difference.

21.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 11:57:58
In all honesty yesterday was a great day of football for us. Reading the comments and I see hope again, but in fairness I wouldn't think too much about the run in and who plays who, just kick back and enjoy the ride lol, it's shaping up to be a hell of a season. On to Leeds we go.

22.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 12:08:11
City still have their own derby match to play, and as bad as united are, I still fancy them to take points from that game. Its that time of the season every club down there is scrapping for points to stay up. just wish they'd actually attack city than try to defend for 90 mins.
But we have to do our job and win most if not all our remaining games.
Enjoy the ride.

23.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 13:08:42
Some proper banana skin games remaining for both teams. I don’t think the league will be won/ lost at the game at the emirates.
City have to be favourites still, they have a 6 points lead still.

24.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 13:20:47
I get the sense the squad are moving into business end mindset now. Key now is to keep players fit and focused.

There are not many sides that can both defend deep and narrow for long spells as well as having the speed and skill to beat their press and break on them. Well done Spurs (Conte) and Southampton (Ralf) .

You can see why City don't feel they need a no9. This system with the extra AM allows them to literally pen you into your 18 yard box for 90 mins. Adding a no9 would mean sacrificing some of this dominance.

25.) 20 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 20:54:25
One game at a time, eh?

26.) 21 Feb 2022
21 Feb 2022 00:01:21
Vvv if we beat city by 1/ 0 we will have the better goal difference as we have scored more goals than them, hence its ours to lose.

27.) 21 Feb 2022
21 Feb 2022 01:28:29
well if we were in their position we'd be saying it's ours to lose.

28.) 21 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 22:18:42
I didn’t realise Everton play Man City. I reckon Lampard will have them well fired up for that because he was not happy about the weekend’s performance.

What a beautiful game. Ed25 is stuck between the devil and a sky blue sea.

{Ed025's Note - i always want us to win st etienne, but if we lose which i expect then so be it...silver linings and all that.. :)

29.) 21 Feb 2022
20 Feb 2022 22:21:45
We have to beat Leeds first. Then a tricky West Ham. I would feel confident going to City knowing a win puts us top. We won't change the way we play. Spurts showed yesterday that City are vulnerable w the ball in behind.
