Are Liverpool looking to sign playes from South American leagues? City have got Alvarez and now may buy Savio.

I’m also pretty sure either Claudio Cannigia or Diego Forlan was our Chief Scout in South America once upon a time so yes we have presence in South America we must if we signed the Brazilian goalkeeper or was that Alison’s brother who reccomended him?

I have to say I'm a bit jealous of some of the South American talents City have been buying. I would have loved Liverpool to have signed Alvarez and Kayky. Very smart signings. I wish they just bought players like Grealish all the time!

{Ed077's Note - at least let those players do something noteworthy for City before you start being jealous. So many wunderkids get hyped up everyweek, yet so few actually end up making an impact.

And even then you m ight be better off sniffing around the Fulham academy anyways 🤣🤣🤣

I remember feeling jealous about Gabriel Jesus and Gabigol many years ago. Both turned out to be good ones to avoid!

Not all youngsters work out and while Brazillian names may sound flashy and exciting, i'm pretty happy with find the likes of Harvey Elliot.

@Taurus1 how you can call Gabriel Jesus as a happy one to avoid, is beyond me. He is a very decent player, and for 27mn a pretty good buy too. I think he is pretty underrated due to the galaxy of stars City possess.

I think he doesn't have the personality to be "the" striker for a top team. I find his off the ball movement really nice. And he has an occasional trick or two. I am no expert but this is what I could make out watching him.
