Just read somewhere that Milner will be offered a one year extension. There's no doubt the man has done a lot for the club in various ways. But he's a high earner coming in usually to close out games, and backup several positions. I assume the offer will probably be with lowered wages. Either way, it's not a bad move.

Just move Keita on, one way or another, for God's sakes. That's a minimum for the summer.

Aray also seen reports last night that Bobby and Mane are to be offered new contracts.

Does that mean we are keeping the 5 main forwards?

Or early indication that both will be kept as the back up option to Mo not agreeing on his.

Sadly I think this might be the last 3-4 months of us seeing Mo in a LFC shirt so let’s enjoy it while we can.

Not necessarily.
In one way it makes sense keeping Bobby and Mane, they’re both proven performers and integral parts of the squad. It buys the owners and (new? ) manager time in finding suitable replacements also, over the next two or three years.
It’s just whether some agreement or way of meeting Salah’s demands are to be found. I can’t see FSG sanctioning £400k per week or more but maybe some kind of bonus system or something?
This is where Shankly fell down, and Paisley thrived, replacing legends.
Although back then, hitting 30 years of age was a virtual athletic death knell. So the matter was straightforward.
Not so now.
Interesting though, all manner of permutations are possible, lol.

My take it that Klopp's words on Milly were misinterpreted. He said that he doesn't believe Milly intends to retire and that the club does not talk to media about contract business. Klopp also said that he regularly talks to Milly - which didn't explicitly seem to suggest the contract.

Reading between the lines, I suspect Klopp would like Milly to stay around the squad, that Milly wants to carry on playing football for as long as possible and the business is just business. All 3 things can be true without meaning there are talks underway. Of course I may have misinterpreted it myself :)

Whatever happens, Milly's been a key influence on our culture and will be one of the few senior players that will have lived through and learned from Klopp's era with us. If he takes that experience and his ultra professionalism into coaching, he may end up being a really top boss in the future.

Add to that it appears he's taken his Spanish language application to new levels of intensity by speaking to his kids in only Spanish. You can't mess with this kind of dedication.

Offering and the players accepting are two different things.

Being a great servant and would love to see him stay on on the coaching staff. but not as player.

I think he offers so much more to the younger players and his experience is worth quite a few quid a week. He certainly hasn’t looked past it when he’s played.

If Firmino and Milner both stay, I can't see it being on their (alledged) current salaries of £180k and £150k a week respectively.
