Ed001, hopefully there will be a bit of money to spend in the summer so what would be your perfect summer transfer window?

I’d personally love it if we got salah tied down on another deal and add one of Bellingham or Declan rice. I think we’re just one really good midfielder short of having a perfect squad. Maybe another RB aswell to cover Trent and I’d be very happy going into next season with that squad.

{Ed001's Note - I don't see the need for a right-back, but I would agree with you on the rest, particularly Bellingham. If we got Bellingham in that would be a great window.}

If we just got Bellingham it would be an amazing window!

I would love Declan Rice. I think he is a perfect fit for a Klopp midfield. A young Henderson and better in my opinion.

Rice for me. Perfect long term replacement for Hendo as captain in my opinion, and the perfect immediate competition for a starting berth.

Bellingham or Rice, Irish Rover?

Agreed Irish. I know it’s impossible but a midfield 3 of rice, Bellingham Elliott would be sensational for the best part of a decade.

If we bought one CM in the mould of those 2, our squad is in a fantastic place.

Bellingham is technically abit better then Rice but Rice is better physically and not that bad technically and can Play multiple position in midfield.

2 top players but bellingham for me! Will catch up physically over time and the better footballer.

I would lean towards Rice as he has the build for multiple midfield rolls but I reckon Chelsea beckons for him.

Bellingham is a very special talent. I would much rather have Bellingham than Rice.

Bellingham has not been involved in premier League footie, so may take time to adapt, or might not at all. Rice has the experience edge, but he's also more defensive than Bellingham, he's even played CB. More versatile at the back whereas Bellingham is more versatile up front.

Rice is actually technically better than some give him credit for. Passing and striking of the ball is exceptional, plus if anyone gets time I would say to check out his F2 on YouTube. Ideal yet unrealistic scenario would would be a midfield trio of Rice, Bellingham and Elliot. That midfield trio could dominate for 10+ years. It’s a tough one because Bellingham has a higher ceiling and is future captain material. Rice has demonstrated he is captain material right now and has done it in the League for a number of years. But then again Bellingham is special. Either would improve us and would be a perfect Hendo successor but I’m slightly and I mean slightly leaning towards Bellingham, just because I think the boy is special.

For me the key factor is Rice is premier league tried and tested and very much looks the part.

Last season i would liked to have seen us look at Sancho but I’m so glad we didn’t.

Ripping up the bundesliga is no guarantee you’re going to rip up the Premier league. To name just two Naby and Haller are another 2 expensive signings to add to that list.

Bellingham was playing in a poor Birmingham side at the age of 16 and did very well. I appreciate it was a league down from the Prem but he’d be used to the pace and the physicality of the English game.

Bellingham (Hendo successor) and Tchouameni (Gini successor and capable of covering Fab) please. Thank you.

Can add Timo and Havertz to that list too.

Think Rice will go to Chelsea. He is a Chelsea fan and I wouldn’t be surprised if he wants to stay down in London. Think Man Utd will try for him but expect them to lose out to Chelsea.

Bellingham is the guy we should look to sign. Our coaches will be able to turn him into a top player.

Having Bellingham and Harvey in our side will be like seeing the old Barcelona with Xavi and Iniesta… different players but simply the best around. It could be brilliant.

Oh and get Mo signed up for another 4 years.

{Ed0666's Note - I think rice will go to Chelsea also especially as his closest chum in life plays for them also.

Anyone think this will be our captain Hendo's last season as a first team starter? Still a integral cog in our team at the moment, but does he start less going into next season?

{Ed0666's Note - yeh I think he’ll be managed now and take over the Milner role in the coming seasons.

Rice is getting the pulses rating, I see.
Can you imagine a combo of him and Liam Brady?
Half Rice, half Chips.
I'll get my coat.
