Good chance tomorrow to Chip away at the lead.

City drop points. That’s a big surprise. We still got to win all our games anyway regardless so nothing changes for us. On to Selhurst Park.

I know there's a long way to go, but football is there to make you dream and I am dreaming!

Win tomorrow and our game in hand and the gap is 6. With city still to play the gap isn't as big as it was suggested. We are still in this but the race is on.

One win at a time but its not over just yet, and the way I look at it is they have just gone on a huge run and are still in striking distance. Time to put some pressure on.

We need to win 10 in a row. Difficult but not impossible.

For me we have 2 big tasks on our hands and both are achievable.

We need to beat 16 teams from now until the end of the season.

Secondly we need to also beat City In our fixture which is no easy feat. In the last 8 games against them we have only beaten them once and lost 3 and drawn 4.

Even doing both them we still require a third objective of City dropping points elsewhere but as we seen today that is possible.

The first two are factors we can control. Unfortunately we can’t control the third.

It’s up to Klopp and the team to deal with the first two and then it’s let the gods decide on the third.

We need to beat Palace. One game at a time.

Assuming City won’t drop any more points doesn’t mean they won’t.

The GOD has spoken a second place finish JK 😀😀.

City must be absolutely appalling, only managing to draw against Southampton. They need a massive overhaul of their squad and probably the worst champions that have ever won the league.
This is not an overreaction.

Just hope we beat Palace. Got a bad feeling but just used to us doing things the hard way. I'd love it of we won the league this season. Imagine.

Was just nice to see Guardiola in his ugly, passive aggressive mood after the game. If a title race ever got close, I’d love to see if he can handle the pressure.

"I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them, love it! "

I think we'll drop points today.
Hope I'm wrong and I'm ever the pessimist.

100% agree we need to look at beating Palace first. It’s 1 game at a time. But beating Palace doesn’t overtake City and win us the league.

I think City will still win it by a canter. But I'll still enjoy the ride whatever happens.

WarMachine they handled the pressure a few years back when they won and we finished second.
When I dream of a better squad I’m told to stop and be realistic. So as a realist we ain’t winning the league.

Right, two points closer to City than we were - I’ll take that.

January without Mo, Sadio and Naby went ok for me. Qualified for the League Cup Final, a win in the FA Cup and 2 wins and a draw from three league games, with the draw away at the team who are 3td in the league.

For a squad that takes a hammering from some on this forum when we fail to achieve perfection we did alright.

WDW we had Mane and Salah for the Chelsea game mate. In fairness I’d say it’s been an excellent January without them so far.

Whoops, yes, you are correct - and that was the one we drew - not sure they will be able to force their way back into the team when they get back 😉.
