Neco williams playing really well for wales over the last week. He looks like a natural winger rather than a full back and it looks like he's improved a lot over the last few months.

I have always said Neco's natural position is on the right wing, he needs a season their to craft this position but the potential is there.

I disagree. I just don't think he will be anywhere good enough. I don't think he has the pace or the skill to be a winger. I understand he played well against Belgium and long may it continue for him and I hope he proves me wrong. I can't see it tho.

Keep him at rightfull, where he's spent the last few years playing. there's a reason he was moved from winger to fullback as a youth.

Williams has that deceptive, loping long stride that can make him cover space quicker than he looks. But I agree that he's better as an offensive player than a defensive one. Perhaps define a role for him in midfield and further up, so that he offers something different than the other midfielders, when brought on? He looked quite good and effective playing ahead of Connor Bradley, in that one game.

A full international who can’t get his place in the Liverpool XI?
Unless there’s a major injury to TAA, that situation is not going to change either for him unfortunately.
It might be better for him to move on, get a fee, and have one of the younger players cover?

If my memory serves me well, Neco was a wide man by trade before he shifted to fullback.
