Quite disappointed to hear Klopp having a go at the officials so much. I get that he likes to protect his players but sometimes its best to praise the opposition and move on. The defending from set pieces was terrible from the start and when we were chasing the game West Ham cut through us a few times. They played well, we didn't. OK Cresswell may have gone in hard but sometimes these decisions go against you.

In fairness I do think Allison’s arms were impeded for the first goal, and I think Cresswell should’ve walked - a knee high, aggressive challenge he flew into were he caught the man, most players walk for that. Pogba deserved his red the other week and his tackle wasn’t as bad as Cresswells. It’s the same issue officiating consistency, they seem to make things up on the spot.

Never a foul for the 1st one. Goalkeeper too soft and it rattled him for the rest of the game.

Bigbaz, I wouldn't pay too much attention to whatever he said. We were poor from top to bottom and that includes Klopp himself so what were you expecting him to say? That we including him, was poor? Come on, man. You better believe he will be giving the the business behind closed doors.

That said, Cresswell should have been carded for such a reckless and dangerous challenge esp. with the ball clearly being there to be won and he already won it cleanly so not sure why he had to go knee high in the follow thru. If Hendo had done his knee and needed a stretcher, I bet you he gets sent off.

As for the ref, Pawson is just useless and is the only ref in the PL one I can clearly see he has no idea what he is doing and is just officiating by guess work, IMO.

Alisson was rattled, usually superb but he had a bad game. The first goal is not a foul, there's not enough contact from Ogbonna to say he fouled Alisson. The Cresswell one should have been a booking but not a red card for me.

I'm with bigbaz here, bad day at the office and should be giving praise to West Ham and Moyes rather than complaining about what are at best 50/ 50 calls. No complaining about Mo getting a freekick for Trent's goal.

Being a goalkeeper I think its mental to say the first isn't a foul. How can a keeper punch or catch a ball when a player impedes his arms, you clearly see ogbonnas elbow hit Allison's left arm stopping him from getting a connection on the ball. 9 times out of 10 that's given as a foul.

Why wasn’t Matip or VVD or someone stood in front of the West Ham players stopping them. Where are the leaders in the team instructing on the basics. Is Klopp not letting them think for themselves.

Warmachine, Klopp tends to let the players play out the first half and get a feel for a game, its up to players to decide what's going on there and then, why Van Dijk sticks to the back area on corners i don't know and the first thing Alisson should of been doing on the corners is telling a Liverpool man to get Ogbonna off him, it was a foul and it was a red card but neither were given and we looked off it from the first whistle, the lack of quality in reserve is a worry and i feel we need investment in January on a big forward especially and a creative mid.

In relation to the first goal this is how I see it rightly or wrongly. If your arms are above your head and interfere with a goalkeeper trying to play the ball its a foul.

Despite the rules, refereeing was, is and always will be subjective, to a certain extent. If you guys remember from last season, VVD jumped in front of a goalkeeper with his hands to his sides, and the ensuing goal (by Mané or Firmino, I forgot) was called back by VAR. That was far milder than the jump up with hands raised by Ogbonna. You get some calls and you lose some calls. It's just subjective and how our luck is running that day.
