Can anyone tell me as to why CR7 was not sent off on Sunday think to a couple of years back when hazard did the exact same with the Swansea city ball boy and got sent off?

{Ed0666's Note - because he’s CR7 and the referee was an absolute melt who had no courage to send off any United player until prompted.

Can we not call him CR36?After his age but then again he does act like a 7 year old😃.

That kick on Jones was just horrible! It wasn’t even I little toe poke he put everything behind that. I think the fact that Jones didn’t roll round and got straight back up helped the ref to keep him on. I lost a bit of respect for CR7 after that.

Listen the law states strikes or attempts to strike is violent conduct so if a player let's say throws a punch you dodge it then it's not a red card I referee amateur football and would get lynched for not issuing a red card for the likes of that and have we all forgotten Fernandes challenge.

I seem to recollect Fergie once crying in a post match interview that Van Persie could have been killed by Ashley Williams when he kicked the ball at him from point blank range. But hey C. Ronaldo attempts it and its fine.

As I said before, CR7 is a spineless coward who seems to be able to pick on those who are either smaller, younger or in a more defenceless position than he is. What he did to Jones is absolutely disgraceful and I ain't trying to hear all that kap about him kicking the ball.

Seriously, can you really say that when the ball is stuck on Jones' groin? Who believes such nonsense esp. since the ref already blew for a free kick before hand? Taylor bottled it, BUT that's not , is it? As for Bruno and Pogba, spineless cowards the lot of them. Pogba went in both feet off the ground, studs up to do damage on Keita. I didn't say that, Don Hutchinson on BT said so and called it a cowardly tackle. Who makes cowardly tackles? Cowards, I know.

Bruno? He was not look so tough when Konate got in his face and ran away like the wimp after shoving VVD from be hind, another cowardly move.

They excused it because the second kick was at the ball, even though Ronaldo intended it to hurt. But none of the pundits mentioned the first kick which was wild, high and nowhere near the ball. That alone was a red card offence. Maguire should also have gone for being last man and bringing down Jota to deny a clear goal scoring opportunity. By the letter of the law, the high kick to the head should have seen red too. But what do we expect with Greater Manchester born Anthony Taylor?

{Ed025's Note - by all your accounts taylor should have sent every man utd player off, i think you all need to have a word with yourselves guys...snowflakes..

I believe that’s why we didn’t crush them even more and score 7/ 8. They would’ve tried to end Salahs season.

Just because they were all committed by the same team in the same game doesn’t make them any less of an offence. Maybe could give some leeway to the accidental kick to the head, but we’ve twice before seen players sent off for that. Ronaldo and Maguire, no dispute. Six yellow cards and one red showed that United had completely lost their heads and those types of challenges happen in those circumstances.

Bruno too on Jones start of second half was high on his left leg. Foot planted it would have been nasty. Total bullies picking on Curtis.

It was a yellow nothing more.

I know it is all about the banter Ed 25 but isn’t it time you got some new material? You’re beginning to sound like Jimmy Cricket.

Ronaldo was a red. Yellow for the first challenge on Jones and yellow for the petulant groin kick.

Fred was a close call. Could have been a red but I think it would have been harsh. It wasn’t like the Griezemann challenge midweek.

Maguire. Straight red. Last man. Letter of the law. Off.

How are Everton doing by the way? Thought this was their year?

Nope, Ed25. You prolly want to aim the snowflake comments to the few spineless Utd players picking on a kid on the floor and shoving people from behind cos they are to cowardly to do the same thing in their faces.

More importantly, Not every Utd player should be sent off cos not every Utd player did the things the other cowardly Utd players did. IMO, Just CRCoward and PogHairstyle should have been sent off. The rest? Not arsed.

Oh wait, didn't Neverton get a 5ver dropped on them at Woodison by the Mighty Watford FC on the weekend just like we did at OT? If that happened to my team, I would comment on these boards bantering other teams for a week.

{Ed025's Note - look oli your a man of the world, if he had kicked jones and not the ball then you would have a good case...the fact is he didn,t, petulant yes but dangerous?..come on mate get a grip will you, i never seen you on these boards when you played city and milner tombstoned silva when already on a yellow? peoplee in glass houses and all that, your hatred towards united and everton makes you look very bitter my friend..

You're a seasoned debater Ed025. We all know it. But quite frankly, the "Milner got away with it against Silva, so it's okay that Ronaldo get away with it with Curtis Jones" argument is not a winner. I'm actually quite surprised that you choose the "what is good for the goose is good for the gander" technique of debate. It's weak, and not very convincing at all. And I know you can do far far better. Like include some substance to your argument.

By the way, our non-scoring forward is up to 4 goals and 1 assist in 7 appearances in the EPL. 6 goals in 9 appearances if you want to include the UCL. Just saying.

{Ed025's Note - all as i ask for is balance ArAy, you are alright moaning when one goes against you but when it goes for you the silence is deeafening, as i say balance mate, on bobby the stats dont tell the truth do they?, he scored a hattrick against watford and was still the worst man on the pitch!!, i have no axe to grind with him but i just dont get the hype..

16.) 28 Oct 2021

Ed25, Milener should have been red carded via a second yellow IF the ref adjuged him to have fouled Silva which he didn't. He blew for the Hendo foul on Silva so clearly, the Silva incident happened as incidental contact after the play had stopped.

Now the ref could still have carded Milner afterwards BUT he didn't so your beef is with him, NOT with me. I see you left all this out in your response which is weird. Like ARAY1969 said, your argument lacks substance.

Hatred towards Utd and esp. Neverton? Surely, you jest. I spoke facts and Don't try to deflect from the 5-bomb Watford dropped on you at home, like we did vs Utd at OT. Again I spoke facts, not hatred or bitterness. Peace.

{Ed025's Note - your point is moot though oli, milner stuck his leg out and fouled silva who fell awkwardly and could have sustained a very nasty injury, the fact that the ref blew for something else is immaterial mate, otherwise if a ref blows for offside then would it be ok for another player to come on with an axe and behead another player without punishment??? do you get my drift?..
