Sly Sports suggesting Thiago out for two games with his calf injury. Shame given how he was playing, maybe a moment for Curtis to shine.

One of the games is the League Cup (showing my age there) and I suspect there’ll be a fair bit of rotation for that one. Looks like TAA and Neco are still out so maybe young Bradley at right back for the game?

I am delighted it’s only 2 games. When I saw it happen the injury looked far worse. If it’s 2 games it’s a right result. Firmino is back in team training as well this week.

Mark what’s your thoughts on Thiago at the mo mate after his last couple of appearances.

He is just finding his feet atm. He needs games like most players. Hendo was poor for a few games but now he is upto speed he looks almost at his best. I don’t think Thiago has been as good as some have said but he has certainly not let anyone down. I think Fabs was by far the best of the midfielders on Saturday. Thiago’s best is yet to come of that there is little doubt. But if Elliot wasn’t injured I don’t think Thiago would get a game atm.

Mark, Thiago was on the pitch when Elliott got injured at Leeds so your last point just got easily debunked. Nice try, tho. Now All the other stuff you said about Thiago prior to that, I fully agree with.

Yes but as I said Oli Hendo was just getting upto speed. Of course Fabs and Hendo are first and second choice even you can see that Oli.

If Thiago can remain (major) injury free this season, he will stamp his class on the team.
No doubts about that at all.

Well Mark, Klopp will be rotating a lot more this season so not sure who is first or 5th choice anymore since it will be more about keeping players fresh.
