I think its going to be dangerous going into the season with no genuine back up ti the front 3 coming in, we saw last season they had a rough period and we had nobody able to score the goals when we need them.

We can still sign someone in Jan. Elliot can play further forward. There is also a guy called Firmino and it’s 2 PL games.

When they go to AFCON, we will probably play Jota left, Firmino centre, and I think Ox on the right (fitness permitting) . Midfield probably unaffected as Keita isn't part of our best XI anyway. We'll likely still have Origi and Minamino from the looks of it. If not Gordon will be 17 by January, and is a capable impact sub.

We do also have Elliott who (although i think will be cemented in midfield by then) can play right wing if needed. I do think we could've done with selling and replacing Origi but it is what it is. I have more to worry about in life than who Liverpool do or don't sign.

You lads are all aware that we are allowed to change the formation about a bit right?

Like I'm some games we don't have to play a front 3, we could play 2 or maybe. now this is mental. we could play one on his own!

Same goes for midfielders, we could maybe try a new shape! Now that would seriously be mental, how could we possible expect elite level footballers to understand different game plans and positions?

Maybe il send my c. v in to fsg try for klopps job when he goes.

We certainly don’t score goals from midfield, we’d best just hope for the best, I don’t think we’ll enter the market in January regardless of whether we’re doing well or not.

It’s still concerning that we don’t have an answer to teams that can effectively park the bus and defend in large numbers.

Ashy this is the thing we are allowed to change formation but we haven't done so since klopp took over i ain't complaining we have been brilliant but the the same tactics won't work forever .

VVVV, regarding our not scoring goals from midfield, Klopp addressed this very issue when a journo asked him a dumb question about our midfield system before the Burnley game, I think. I propose you watch it on YouTube as it will answer this misnomer of our midfield not having goals in it.

Regarding parked buses, all big teams suffer from this on occasion including City (who lost 5 games to parked buses in the 19/ 20 season) BUT anytime we struggle with it, it makes headlines. It is nothing but a trope created out of nothing.
