As much as robbo has contributed to Liverpool success over the last few seasons the amount of times he slows down the Liverpool Attacks and goes backwards to the defence or sideways to a midfielder instead of opening up his body trusting his right foot and zipping the ball into mane bobby / jota is one of the reasons why opposing teams like Chelsea on Saturday have time to double on the forwards and limit the service the forwards get -using his right peg would Add a new dimension to his game surely.

He is coming back from injury to be fair. For me, that’s down to Klopp. Love him. Love them both. However, Tzmic the Bubble has been outstanding and fully fit so should have stayed in at LB. On merit and to allow Robbo full time. Even if subbed at 75 or 80. That’s how it should have played out. In fairness no ones fault. Klopp wants his best against the best. Robbo would never give less then 100% and if he can’t see the pass then that pass ain’t on. No one should start to throw shade towards any of our players or staff considering the job they’re doing with the constraints they’re under.

Much of it will be down to the fact that he was overused last season during the injury crisis and that his left-side buddy Mane was and is playing like a stranger.

He will be fine I am sure.

I certainly wasn't trying to throw shade over robbo just and observation I have had for a while now before his injury and after saturdays frustration of not being able to break down Chelsea it was more a way of trying to speed up liverpools attacks when we are facing a heavily loaded defence . I'm in agreement 💯 per cent that Liverpool players and staff alike have done an amazing job under there constraints they have been faced with and I wouldn't change any of them given the chance. glass if half full not empty as far as I'm concerned and I'm looking forward to seeing how we go again after the international break.

Betsy, so you are saying that Robbo now slows down our attacks (which is patently false, btw) whereas you know he is not fully fit after coming back from injury and you think you are not throwing shade at him? Come on, man. Don’t do that.

It's his first game back after injury, an injury he was expected to be out longer with, he's one of the best left backs in Europe.
