The negativity on here after utd signed a 36 year old past his best is crackers.
Theyve overreacted after city looked liked getting him and splashed a fortune in wages for someone who did nothing at all to help Juventus last season.
Our squad came 3rd last year with all those injuries, do we not have a stronger squad that includes Konate now and Elliot added to the first team squad too?
We can't just keep throwing money away especially in this climate of clubs still recovering from no fans etc, its not xbox fifa.
Think about it, this club is more than capable of winning the league, we've 6 points out of 6 and a chance to put a marker down by beating Chelsea, if its all going wrong by xmas then by all means have a whine but now is definitely not the time.

Top scorer in Serie A did “nothing at all to help juventus last season”…. I’ll have some of what your having mate, sounds like potent stuff!

{Ed014's Note - he could be a great signing he maybe not all that only time will tell but Juve bought him in the expectation they’d win the Champions League and they didn’t even get close.

Juve actually felt he was holding them back and they’d be better with out him.

I think he just wanted a move to follow Messi’s lead as his heads so big!

Utd are building a good team and won't be far away at the end of the season. however, I just can’t see them winning anything with Father Dougal in charge.

Personally I think it'll be great to see him back in this league. I don't care that he'll be a utd player, good luck to him.

That's extremely harsh on Fr. Dougal Alan mate😁.

Hopefully he'll help Utd as much as Bale helped Spuds last season.

I think it’s good to see Ronaldo back in the PL too.
I can’t recall him being that influential in a Utd shirt against Liverpool though?
And I’d expect that to continue 😀
He’ll do well against the smaller teams, your Brentford, Everton and such like.

Ronaldo does nothing for Man Utd. Where are the 2 CMs and the RB that they had prioritized at the start of the window?
They ain't winning nowt with Matic and McFred as their midfield, and Pogba is not disciplined enough to play there.
Also who is their first choice GK? Nobody knows, and that's something for that club to be worried about.

Bit of a sad indictment on Rashford really.

Triangle- he may have been top scorer in Serie A but they went backwards after he joined. Not sure how much was down to him though but they seemed keen to get rid.

I actually agree with the overall theme of OP Ed, I’m sure he will score goals but maybe at the expense of someone like Greenwood who’s game time will now surely suffer which is a shame.

Just don’t agree a top scorer with 29 goals did nothing to help.

{Ed014's Note - it wasn’t my thoughts mate, don’t watch Italian football just the clubs thought process.

Beyond yourselves, City and Chelsea there isn’t really much for United to beat and don’t see them as good as any of you 3.

Not a great keeper, still question marks about the defence and McFred in midfield.

Utd will buckle under the pressure Ronaldo blocks Greenwood’s development and steels Bruno limelight Sancho May struggle to make an impact and their defence is so poor Varane has come to England for a holiday and will not adapt to proper English football awful manager disgusting fans and will continue to come up short in all departments.
