Bissouma rumors are heating up now. We may offer up Phillips or Origi plus 30mil pounds to Brighton.
Would be a good signing. But we still need a forward as well. One injury to either of our front 4 and we are in trouble.

Mane and Salah as a front 2 would do frustrate fine. Never mind any 3 of them.

I think one injury to one of our front 4 and we will still have 3 buzzer we have ox and elliot who can cover up there. Bissouma above an attacker for me definitely.

If its a choice between a forward and midfielder, I am choosing a forward all day long. Elliot and Jones need ample game time in the middle of the pitch to develop and I expect Naby to have a good season.
I am not convinced Taki, Divock or Ox are up to the mark in the forward line. I'd definitely get another forward in. No idea who though.

Where is the Brighton rumours page where 1 of the Ed's will give an update on Bissouma? 🤪
The suspense is killing me 🥴.

To get Bissouma just do it. For what we need I take him over Saul. The lad is class and doesn’t need time to adjust to the league. Also we don’t want to look back when he is playing for an elite club thinking of what might of been. We also have to think if we get injuries to both Fab and Hendo that would mean, putting Milner or Thiago in Fab role which as we have seen is not their favoured position of strength. Bissouma on the other hand can play the Fab and Hendo role/ position so for me if there is an opportunity and it means chucking in Phillips and Origi you do it and you do it now before his value sky rockets.

I agree Alonso. But we couldn’t afford him last week, so what’s changed? Brighton don’t want to sell, they also don’t need the money. We are not the lads first choice and we don’t have a pot to pee in.

We will find a way if we want him. always do. I'm hoping we sign him lads. I'd take over a forward I reckon. He will be one of those signings that makes a huge difference.

To be fair though Mark, apart from the fact

- Brighton don’t need the money,

- we haven’t got the money and

- we aren’t the players choice of destination

I think it sounds like the signing is a certainty ….

I’m sure Brighton were looking at Nat Phillips…. Give them Nat and Origi plus 20m and they will surely go for that. they could do with a striker surely… we’ve just got to hope Origi and Nat would want to go there 🥴.

I agree entirely Markp08. Has something changed Ed002 with the situation?

{Ed002's Note - There has been no offer from Liverpool.}

If getting Bissouma meant that we had to go into the season a bit light up front i’d 100% take it. Bissouma for me isn’t just a good potential signing, he’s an absolute necessity. He’s perfect for what Klopp wants from a midfielder and is outstanding by every possible metric. Age, adaptability, premier league experience, attitude, offensive play, defensive play, pressing, height, the lad has it all. He’s a far superior and more well rounded player than the likes of Keita, Ox and Wijnaldum ever were. If we don’t strengthen now then our midfield will likely need 2 players next summer and whoever we get won’t be as ideal as this guy. On the other hand while we do need a forward i think we’d all concede there aren’t really any outstanding targets you’d say we HAVE to go out and get. I really like the look of Bowen and think he’d do well for us but there could equally be a lot of better targets available next summer with a higher ceiling. Time to start thinking about the next evolution of this Liverpool side and i just know that Bissouma should be an essential part of that.
