Doesn't make much sense. Primarily a LW although can play on the right, 27 years old and doesn't have a very good goal/ assist return for a winger.

For a decent price I wouldn't object but would be surprised as I thought we would try and sign a player of a younger age profile.

Let's wait and see I suppose.

If this is true, makes you wonder if the club have received an offer for Mané and are sitting on it. Otherwise, I don't see the sense in it. First they consider a 29 year old for left wing backup (Coutinho) and now a 27 year old (Ocampos) . And neither will be cheap in wages. Jota would slot into Manés position and then either of those two would backup. You would think they would look at a much younger player like Doku, and others, if the plan was to hold on to Mané for a few more years.

Mikey1985, football fans are easily influenced by hype in the media. Ocampos has hit 46 goals in the last 4 seasons. If he played in this country and got highlighted by pundits and journalists constantly like Raphinha for example (42 goals in his last 4 seasons), people would be far more receptive to the idea.

Anyone who has watched Ocampos for Sevilla in Europe over the last couple of seasons knows he is a really good player. He was brilliant against Bayern in last seasons Super Cup. Scored a penalty really early in the game, and it looked so comfortable to him that he must have ice in his veins.
