Search engine says we aren't signing Haarland "any time soon". All good with that, but has the club had any kind of interest in him? Mirror says we are frontrunners, which lead me to wonder if we'd ever considered him or talked to his reps/ etc.

Be interested to hear from Eds what significant targets the club had prior/ have once/ if the financial situation improves.

Would Bowen, Sarr, Troare, Bissouma, Sanches still have been where we were at? Was Saul ever a realistic consideration?

Was Haarland ever looked at?

Juicer, not sure if that is true cos Wright before RBS played us in last CL group game, the Utd fans were going on and on about how Haaland would join Utd cos of his links with Ole and then for whatever reason, he went to Dortmund.

Therefore I’m not sure what links with Ole there still are cos if he rejected him once despite links, why would he go back to him again? Whether we are interested, I don’t know BUT I remember Ed01 said once, that he is a player we prolly want to avoid due to his severe attitude issues.

I'm not suggesting he will ever play for us, I'm asking if the club ever had him scouted, pencilled in as a maybe or anything else along those lines.
