A few days back Rammy Abbas made a statement " Are they watching" exactly after Salah scored that goal.
This is my gut feeling, Mbappe heading to Real and PSG going full throttle for Salah. we will be left with Traore and Sarr.
Not going for Jadon Sanchoi when he was available would be the most stupid thing ever if this was to happen.

{Ed002's Note - How would Liverpool be able to pay for Sanchoi?}

That seems like a big assumption based on three words.

Bruh. wow
Need to relax a little. Salah is still ours for now.

Well, I don't know how the money works, but the club should have been proactive about this scenario. But if we lose Salah to PSG this window, No amount of money is going to replace his impact. Sancho was the closest in terms of someone stepping up. Now we don't even have an option.

{Ed002's Note - Salah is not going to PSG this summer.}

The club should have been pro-active about the transpiring of events that you’ve made up in your head? We should have gone and paid a £50 million agents fee for Sancho just because? All this because Salah’s agent did a cheeky tweet clearly aimed at getting a contract extension?

Speechless. Please calm down.

James Pearce wrote a good article on this. To sum up he said Salah is very happy at Liverpool and the tweet is aimed at the Liverpool money men. Went on to say that the Salah contract extension with be the trickiest of the lot because for what he is worth and what he brings to the table. Compared to other players in the league and worldwide what they are paid Liverpool will need to make a statement of intent in what they offer him. And Pearce went on to say it would need to be 400k plus I believe.

That will do it for me Ed02.
JK23
There is no way the club will offer £400k to him. He is 29. chance of that kind of sum.

Exactly my post was JK: His agent will press for a package way out of our bracket. if not this summer we are destined to lose him next summer and I don't see anyone remotely close to his ability in the market available for us to sign.

Does no one else find it embarrassing that with the success we have had these last few seasons that we have to wait to sell players just to buy an odd guy, we have the strongest core in the league and should of been built for way more success, these owners need out, Chelsea, United already caught us, City desperate to win and make statements, with Grealish and let's not be fooled, Kane is going there too, all we hear is the usual "next summers a big summer"

Why is it embarrassing? It is financial reality.

It would probably be a whole lot more embarrassing if we spent money we don’t have at the moment and found ourselves in the hole that Barcelona are in.

Let’s see how the season goes before you start to write us off. At the moment we are one from one even with a dodgy midfield (just ask VVVV) .

They also said Torres and Suarez were irreplaceable, but we have won the league title and European Cup since then.

WDW, not writing us off at all, i think the league is between us, City and Chelsea, ambition wants the team to be the best they can and get the best people in place to push on, we won, and seem to have settled for what we had instead of having the backing to keep building, always said FSG have taken us as far as they can and no denying they've done well but they can't keep us at the top.

West Derby, if the midfield line we started with against Norwich lined up against a tougher side we’d struggle to get a draw. Like it or not, take Fabinho and Henderson away and we’re spineless in midfield.

Sinwave, the agent has been making a right fool of himself for years now trying to sell Salah to Madrid and whoever else so why would anyone believe whatever comes out of his mouth? Neither do I believe James Pearce cos he just writes stuff in a bid to get clicks, IMO. Was he not the one who raised some dust about Hendo’s deal? Will Hendo sign a new deal then? Exactly. The guy can take a day off.

IMO, the tweet literally means nothing and the media has jumped in it to try to create a storm whereas it is nothing but a bubble in a bubble bath. Salah will get his deal and all will be fine. No one can afford him anyway and Barcelona have less cash on hand than I do.

Champions league winners, premier league champions, new main stand, new training facilities, Anfield Rd new stand under construction.
Some people don't appreciate what FSG have done for our beloved football club.
They are not perfect and have made mistakes along the way but nobody is perfect.
Enjoy the ride whether it's a high or a low and stop whinging.

LancasterRed will you get your head out of your hole, the league is between LFC, Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd, Leicester City and the rest of the league.
One game has been played by each club and any of the teams you have mentioned could easily have things go wrong and have a run like us last season, or even worse, god forbid.

we typically never see who would be good enough to replace 'x' player. It's like the world stops when Liverpool sell a player lol

My gut tells me that some things have shifted for Salah. Given the aforementioned movements in world football as well as Salah's agents previous approaches to others clubs that were laughed off, we may end up being the most lucrative club for him to play at in terms of earnings and legacy.

And if he leaves in a year ot two time, then good luck to him. we will be totally fine.

Not really Polecat, United won't win anything major with Ole in charge, Leicester will challenge for top 4 not the league and anyone below that isn't a title chaser at all. JWT, I said FSG have done well but are very limited, why be happy with stagnate owners who can't invest in the team?

{Ed002's Note - Owners cannot simply throw money at the team.}

All the hysterical knicker wetting is comical.
As if the club would let Salah go very late in the window with no replacement.
It's amazing the Doomsday scenarios some guys come up with out of nowhere.

got lost there. manU have invested well and heavily but won't win because they have Ole in charge. We have Klopp in charge but won't win anything cos we have FSG.
confused much.
