Hi Eds, I know there is a few players for sale, my question being Do you think we'll sell them all, if not who do you think we might struggle to offload?

Unless Neco Williams is actively trying to push his way out, i think selling him is a dreadful decision. We'll get what? £10m? So who can we get for that amount to replace him who is actually better? He is a player we should be developing into a versatile squad member who will count towards the homegrown and more critically the club developed quota. He can play right back, left back, midfield and right wing.

For me, he's the natural replacement for James Milner as the squad utility player. I don't know why we wouldn't invest a bit of time and energy into a 20 year old full Wales International whose been at the club since he was about 7 years old. He is clearly a decent player and he's not disruptive even when he's out of the side.

Not aiming this at you by the way, markp08. You just made a prediction and i think you'll be at least 80% correct. The Neco rumours just don't make sense to me. I think if we got behind him as a fan base and stopped abusing him on twitter every time he makes a minor error, we'd actually have a decent player in there. He's not a world beater, but who else will come in to sit behind Trent and play 5-10 games a season for the next 10 years?

Mark, excellent effort but what about Woodburn, Ojo, Davies and the most obvious of all, a player that has never started more than 17 league games in any of his ten full premiership seasons, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

I was just trying to think of who would fetch any money JACK, but yes the 3 you mentioned are for sale I am sure. OX is a tricky one especially as he is HG.

No worries MK I was just listing who i thought was for sale. We need the money so one or two will maybe get sold that in an ideal world we would keep. Hoover for me had more potential and we still sold him. Konate can play rb and am sure yourself and ed001 mentioned another youngster coming through for rb.

I think players like Karius, Ojo, and Woodburn are ahead in the queue for the exit. We won't get much by selling them, but we free up some wages and we release a player "blocking" promotion from the lower ranks. Loans are possible of course, but I'm sure it's a pain, considering these players don't have a path to the first team.

I wouldn't touch HG players like Ox and Neco Williams, at the moment, until the situation of incomings becomes clearer, unless they asked to leave.

Markp08, yeah Connor Bradley is the other upcoming right back. Next season he'll step up to the u23's so we'll see if he can battle his way past Neco in the not too distant future.

Jack that Ox fact is a tad misleading. For many of those seasons he was a sub at Arsenal where he was a young man trying to break in to the first team who at that time had some quality players.

Let’s hope he can be more lucky with injuries this season and have decent squad depth to rotate if and when not available.

For many years OX was a proper flop at arsenal. Couldn’t get in midfield and often played on the flanks where flopped again. OX, Iwobi, Walcott, Wheelchair, one of the many reasons Wenger got the boots.

U wouldn't expect too much from our evergreen Milner this season, he won't get a lot of ge time.

Milner is brilliant for the last part of games when he comes on to add some control.
