Question for Ed001.

How highly rated are Jake Cain and Leighton Clarkson? Do you think they might be in the thought process behind not rushing out to sign a midfielder? It seems like Klopp and Lijnders praise them daily. At 19 they are the right age to breakthrough.

{Ed001's Note - Clarkson is certainly thought to be knocking on the door of the first team. I would expect them to go out on loan though to be honest.}

I have always been impressed with Clarkson. Short but combative, and a very good range of passing. Seems a proper midfielder to me. May he learn as much as he can from Thiago.
