Hi Ed/ s
Regarding the proposed European Super League, are you aware of any financial backing from Saudi Arabia or the Gulf states behind JP Morgan's front?
I also read that Infantino was more than ready to go long with the breakaway too?

{Ed002's Note - JPM is an investment and financial services supplier. The source of funds are money placed with them to be invested for profit and the source of investments is unknown. UEFA and FIFA are aware of and have hend some discussions with the group of "elite" sides that have been discussing a breakaway league for a number of years. THat group of clubs would involve UEFA, and perhaps FIFA in negotiating a way forward. There are other ideas that have been put forward as well as has been explained - with funding from China and the United States.}

Thanks Ed002.
China has gone very quiet on the external sponsorship and funding of sports outside of their own country lately, so their interest would be a surprise.
USA, possibly.
The proposed Golf breakaway funding was to come from the Gulf, they’ve got the Fury / Joshua fight too. That would be my guess.
And if it were the Saudis, you’re not telling me the UAE weren’t aware?
In which case, no surprise either that PSG and the Qataris didn’t want to know?
I’m saying nothing of Man City in this, lol.

{Ed002's Note - There is a Chinese organisation still pestering the "elite" clubs. The American investor tries to get individual clubs on side with him and continues to talk with two English sides. It has nothing to do with boxing. The funding comes from the asset investment pot and not through any sovereign nation. There were three sides that turned down involvement when approached - PSG had not been approached at that time as one club had an issue involving them.}

That two clubs are Liverpool and United. If its so, both are damaging their names more.
