only bad point from last night was Sadio Mane's reaction at the end of the game. He was like that after coming off against Palace earlier on in the season that's when his form took a massive dip. Hope he sees it and sorts himself out as his form looks like its coming back. With the 5 games in 3 weeks Klopp is just trying to keep players fresh but 2 down and 3 to go would be a great performance form the team to get top 4 with all the injuries with had to deal with this season.

Form coming back? I haven’t seen that at all. Even last night his first touch after coming in was a mis control and his second touch he fell over attempting a pass.
Trent put him in (possibly offside) and he somehow failed to get the ball around the keeper.
That’s just it for me. If he’d banged in a hat trick and was flying last game then I’d understand him being upset but he’s been awful for 6 months! He’s honestly lucky to get on the bench and he’s only there because of past glories.
Get your head down and win your place back Mane who do you think you are?

Our 2nd highest goal scorer and 3rd highest for assists this season in all comps despite admitting he’s having his worst season in years. Yet he’s lucky to be on the bench lol.
Was there this much uproar when Hendo was subbed at UTD and he walked straight past Klopp and then had a disagreement with him on the touch line before eventually embracing him or when Salah announced to the media he wasn’t happy he wasn’t selected as captain against Atalanta.

Mane has been off the pace for a lot of this season and he was poor when he came on last night. But to criticise him with double standards and then claim to use the YNWA motto then it’s just contradictory.

Sir Alex used to sell big players and replace them because he was ruthless, we can't have players disrespecting the manager publicly on show its not a good look, personally mane looks like he has been playing in a pair of cloggs on his feet all season, attitude like mane showed is not that of a team player I love him but I don't think he is passionate about being part of a collective front 3 .

Not defending mane here, tbf to him he had a brilliant game against Soton last week. He's doing everything to build he's momentum back from last week. The last thing as a player u need is being dropped especially when your just getting your form/ momentum back.

Is all this Mane thing not an over-reaction from supporters though?
We’ve seen Milner with a cob on when he got substituted (albeit he had to laugh when his replacement scored inside a minute), Salah throwing a minor hissy fit, etc etc.
This type of thing has always happened in football.
Much ado about nothing me thinks.

I’m more worried that Mane looked woeful in his cameo performance. Last three games for me needs the same front three as last night. Let Mane get his form back in the summer. We have three games we have to be on our top form.

Btw for me Thiago was MOM for me last night.

Mane was a bit too much, I think.

However, when people are very close to each other, they tend to show more emotions to each other as well. Perhaps, maybe, it showed as well how close these players with the manager.

Regardless, it was a bit too much for me.

Ame should spend less time on twitter and more time on the training pitch to get hus form back.
Oh and once again, I just love everything about Nate Phillips! Could have dropped his head after the own goal but thought was great again (even Williams pitched in with an outrageous pass at some point)

To me there is a big difference between the usual annoyance of players getting subbed off and what Mane did last night. That can often be because they feel they are positively impacting the game and really want to win.

Mane wasn’t subbed off, he was subbed on. When he came on, he was horrendous once again. He was left out of the lineup because he’s been letting us down for almost a year now, and because he was left out of the lineup we were actually able to win a game of football, a very important game of football nonetheless. Apparently winning 4-2 against United is cause for being unhappy, apparently in the mind of Sadio Mane the result doesn’t matter and he should be playing every game in spite of his almost embarrassing run of form.

What Mane did last night was not in the heat of the moment, as it is when players are subbed off. Nor was it the kind of annoyance that comes from a place of wanting to win, for the right reasons. We had just won the game, Klopp was proven right, he had nothing to be annoyed about.

That was a grudge he must have been sitting on all day. That is sulking. That is toxic behaviour. That to me is a player who needs to be sold.

As for Mane, he has had a poor season and there are solid reasons for that and even then, he has scored 14 goals in all comps which is testament to the immense standards he has set for himself if that is a bad season.

That said, what he did to Klopp did not look good at all. Leaving your boss hanging and showing him up like that is bang out of order and I expect Klopp to deal with it in private. Sometimes it is not necessarily what you say or do. It is HOW you say or do it and Mane picked the wrongest of ways to show his frustration.

Come on Aw be fair mate.

I’m not excusing Manes behaviour last night but I’m sure Klopp spoke to him straight after and it’s been quashed or dealt with. Mane has been a brilliant player for us these last 4 seasons and now fans are making out like he is a constant trouble maker after 1 incident last night. Even bringing up what he supposedly did at another club 5 years ago.

Mane has been off form this season but so have most of the side. None of them have hit the heights they have the last 2 seasons so to say he’s let us down is laying the blame solely at his feet. It was only 6 days ago his goal against Southampton gave us a win and despite him having supposedly let us down he’s our 2nd highest scorer and 3rd highest for assists.

For me he doesn’t warrant a start on Sunday because all of the forwards scored last night and starting him after showing the attitude to Klopp he did would send out the wrong message.

But to say we should just sell him because he was a little pissed off would be a massive mistake. Salah doesn’t like being sub or not starting so I guess we’ll just sell him as well next time he shows that.

It’s all well and good saying sell Mane but then replacing the 82 goals and 33 assists he’s given us over the last 4 seasons might prove difficult.
