Good summary Ed001. Nikita Mazepin is a disgrace. He was worse than a mobile chicane, he was a (barely) mobile chicane that leapt about the track! That move to close the door on Perez who was about to lap him, having gone through 5 blue flags already was disgraceful, the guy shouldn't be let near an F1 car again.

I was surprised with how dominant Mercedes seemed here, it was only Verstappen's driving ability that kept him ahead of Bottas (plus I think Bottas made a mistake? ) . Do you think it was down to the wind basically levelling the field in terms of aero packages, or should we settle in for another season of Mercedes domination?

I don't mind either, tbh, as I really want to see Lewis win his 8th title and cement himself as the best ever - the guy just makes driving look so easy!

{Ed001's Note - it was a mix of the wind and the track making mechanical grip more important than aero. It won't hold for all the tracks don't worry.}

Mazeapin won’t be going anywhere as his dad is going to buy the haas team!
I thought it was quite telling the fact that toto spoke to bottas directly to hurry him up.
