Hi eds,
After today's events, I am wondering who might foot the bill?
Playing devils advocate only - can a subscriber ask for their relative subscription?
If so- can Sky demand it from the mancs?
Is there insurance for these sort of stuff?
Or is it just a case of playing again when rescheduled and no repercussion?

I’m quite happy it was cancelled, thought we were in for a pasting. Unpopular opinion, but those fans are unsung heroes, the likes of which should be carried on the shoulders of townsfolk wherever they go, if only for making my afternoon a bit happier.

I’ve heard their prawn sandwiches are terrible. No wonder it broke out in violence. Quite frankly I’d be putting my foot through the f***er and sending the executors of Malcolm Glazers estate the bill too.

{Ed0666's Note - I’m not sure the legalities of any compensation and who is the culprit. I’d assume it’s the police as they get paid to by the club to keep this kind of thing from not happening. Good luck getting you’re refund tho

Eh, extra policing, damage to stadium, damage to pitch, damage to grounds, lost TV revenue, lost advertising revenue, bringing the game into disrepute, failure to control fans, extra costs of rescheduling fixture if it comes to that costs to clubs. Manu fans have totally let themselves down and embarrassed themselves and their club on a national and international scale. Huge huge fine, points deduction, public apology and automatic defeat are punishments that must be dished out.

Nothing but a devils advocate query.
If adverts are paid for an not ran because the game is cancelled, I would have to assume that someone, somewhere will not be happy and ask questions.
