I've always looked at F$G supporters much like brexiteers (so entrenched in there support/ views all they can do is double down on there opinions even though the fog is now lifting and they have clarity, they're still not ready to admit they've been mugged off by billionaires) have the events of the last 24 hours finally helped them see the light? Sadly I doubt it.

Waro’s original points about FSG never indicated something like this would ever happen. You can’t say ‘I told you so’ unless you foresaw something akin to what has just happened, which waro never did. Waro’s problems with fsg as far as I recall, was always about the lack of investment from the owners. Working within our means doesn’t register with some supporters and waro seems to be one of them, because even though we would sell our best players, FSG certainly reinvested a lot of it. We shouldn't act like FSG are like arsenals ownership who were what waro thought FSG were.

On the flip side, have FSG reared their ugly head? Yes, on multiple occasions now especially before and during C.V.. Their Americanised style of running a sports franchise abroad has definitely come to fruition, and a lot like anything the Americans touch that had success abroad, it turns to poo once they try to make it their own. FSG seem to be In the process of doing that here, I think they think they’ve given what the fans want, and established themselves as good owners with the best interest of the club, and they were sadly mistaken. You can’t make the European football leagues the nba, or nfl and expect people to be alright with that. There’s a reason why football is light years ahead of those sports in terms of popularity and quality globally.

I’d like to avoid making this topic political, but the US seems to be a falling empire and they should be content with keeping themselves in the American bubble, away from other international affairs, especially where sports is concerned. They’ve been so good at constantly saying ‘In all of sports’ and only talking about nhl, nba, nfl and mlb on their talk shows, which is a sign of how deluded they are as a nation. No offence to any Americans on this page, but it’s the truth.

There's plenty of awful owners from around the world, greed knows no boundaries, it just happens to be the American owned English clubs this time around . I've known lovely high flying Americans .
