Out of interest, will a place in the proposed Euroleague significantly raise the values of the clubs involved?

Value is a function of current and projected revenue streams. If the clubs' revenues are not projected to increase and therefore increase their value, then they have no business going along with such proposals or even being club owners.

Isn't it obvious.

Just read that each club will receive 3.5 billion euros on joining so i guess that answers my question.

Guessing money will come from sponsors and tv or streaming rights, money only guaranteed if the fans watch the matches.

It's upto the fans to not show any support with their money. Imagine if no season tickets were sold next season and stadiums were empty in protest. That would show these plastic owners what the fans think of the plastic league. I'm disgusted.

{Ed002's Note - That is certainly not going to happen.}

The money comes from an investment bank loan from J. P. Morgan as far as I'm aware, it will need to be paid back, the figures involved appear to be astronomical.

{Ed002's Note - Of course it has to be paid back - they will guarantee $5.5 billion against future income against x% interest.}
