Given the situation we have faced this season with injuries I can understand peoples concerns with regards potential targets such as konate and dembele. We should remember both are young and won’t long have finished growing. The chances of muscle injuries whilst playing intense level sport when still developing physically is pretty high. I’m not saying they won't pick up injuries but equally they may be much less likely as they have grown into their adult body.
If both are viable options, they would definitely be good targets presuming dembele has ceased to be a bit of a tool!

Cheers.

I remember the same concerns over Gerrard and Ged said at the time it was growing pains. Young players pick up injuries and knocks. Konate looks top notch and if we go for him I would be happy to take the risk.

Dembele is 24, he’s about as grown as he’s going to get physically. The only growing he has left to do is all the weight he’ll put on because of his McDonald’s based diet.

Fair comment on Konate though.

Growth plates in males can be active until 19. So muscle injuries around that age and a little older would not be unusual, though dembeles lifestyle would likely have a huge bearing on that! If he has grown out of the injuries and being a k***, then he could be a real player.

Cheers.

He’s certainly not stopped being a knob Greggers, still hangs around with the wrong sorts, still gorges himself on McDonald’s, Dembele needs to be avoided at all costs, not only because of all the direct reasons about his character and fitness, but also because we utterly rinsed Barcelona for Coutinho and I expect they’d want some payback on that.

How do you know all that 6 times? You been raiding his wheelie bin for Macdonald's receipts?! Lol.

Dembele? No freaking way. The guy is poison and the only reason he is still at Barcelona is cos not a soul wants to pay what they want for a player that dire off the field and pretty average on it. Konate? Heus more than worth a punt cos his upside is just too great to ignore, IMO.
