Hey ed001. Fancy doing a champions league campaign review? What went right, what went wrong etc same kind of format as your match reviews. Always enjoy reading your thoughts, you manage to pick up a lot of what I miss.

{Ed001's Note - I will have a think about it and see if I can put together enough to make it worthwhile. I normally take notes while watching, as my memory is terrible, so I have something to refer back to. I usually find that my notes, when looked back on fully completely change the way I remember the game. As I just note down when someone does something well or poorly, makes a mistake etc, I realise that someone I remembered as playing well actually made a lot of mistakes I forgot about because of a couple of good passes or a goal. Or someone you think has been poor because they missed a sitter or got beaten on the dribble actually did loads of good things during the game, but you completely forgot them due to a mistake that sits in your mind.

Kind of like the way Sugar Ray Leonard got awarded the win over Marvellous Marvin Hagler, it was the end of each round that the judges remember. We do the same with the last thing a player does overshadows the previous 89 minutes sometimes. But I will have a think and see if I can come up with something more than just 'we failed to make the most of our chances'.} Become a Patron!
