Ed001 I mentioned Alan Hansen on the post for best captain, how good would he have in today's game with the pitches like they are now. As you said you wanted to be him I think everybody that played cb as a kid in the 80s wanted to be him bring the ball out. Virgil reminds me of him when his on the top of his game because he makes it look effortless but Virgil physical attributes help with that where with Hansen it was just his reading of the game.

No coincidence when he retired we went downhill fast. 8 league titles in 14 odd seasons says it all. Hope he’s keeping well. Legend.
