Was an error from Klopp in hindsight. Keita offered no protection for Trent and was very sloppy in possession. The Madrid midfield have been far superior to ours in that first half and so have their full backs. A real sloppy first half and some really poor defensive errors. Really can’t complain Madrid have been the better team.

Mark, can't agree they deserve to win by more. Yes they were good, but only because we allowed then to be. We gifted them a goal and the others were soft. We were much better second half and could easily have scored another.

That was disappoint, they could have had a hat full and not because they’re great but we were poor. 1 shot on target all game? Gini shouldn’t be captain, it’s an insult to the band. People defend keita too much, hope he can be moved on elsewhere. Felt bad for the CB’s they’re doing an admirable job but together they’re not that level, and that’s not their fault they’re doing their best, but the difference between our back up CBs and real Madrid’s is about £60 million and it showed. I could see us turning it around at anfield but it’s a big ask from these lads to not concede which would be vital to going through. We miss Henderson leadership so much. I have a fear we’ll revert to Fabinho at CB in the next leg.

Poor performance all round. Keita has hopefully played his last game for us that was shocking. Gini was a mess in the first half he should have also been collared.

Hard to ‘easily score another’ when you have one shot on target mate. We were pish poor and made them look far better than they are. This team is capable of bringing this back, but whether they do I don’t know. The mentality seems to be a big issue right now.

No doubt Jota deserved his start tonight but he was very poor. When Bobby doesn’t play in the big games it shows just how much we miss him.
We all know our CB are not at the level needed but to just stand there and allow Toni Kroos to pick a pass over the top of them was criminal. As a front man you don’t allow their best passer of the ball to drop in, get his head up and spray passes about and Jota just stood and watched.
He’s done well for us so far but on that showing tonight he’s got a hell of a lot to learn.

My thoughts too LB his name sounded almost correct offered our players zero protection and another one who before last night was a complete no mark now he joins a comprehensive list of men in the middle who are infamous for they're inaction udo's to Klopp for not Chinning him, already looking forwards to the return leg got sick at looking at Ramos everytime a Madrid player hit the ground.

That tie could have been over in the first half alone, which tells you how terrible we were in that first half alone. Second half was a shade better BUT you cannot play the way we played overall and expect anything but a loss away from home in a CL Q-final. Ain't going to happen.
