Can anyone tell me what happened to Ben Woodburn? I remember him being an exciting prospect and since then we've hardly seen him.

Saw he scored a hattrick in the behind doors game in training which reminded me that he still played for us. Why hasn't his bright future ever materialised?

The vast vast majority of our promising youngsters end up playing championship level or below football. Wood born was at Oxford but then got injured. I think his level is probably league 1. Wilson and Ojo are doing ok at Cardiff that is probably their level. Elliot, Trent and Jones are the 3. I was hoping Glatzel would make a top playing but he is terribly unlucky with injuries atm.

Think I read one of the Ed’s say it was an attitude thing. Got a bit big time Charlie after his Leeds goal, could be mistaken though.

Mark I think that’s a bit unfair “league one level” he has been carrying injuries for long periods of time. Pre injury at Oxford he was continuously performing each game.

There is a talent in there he just needs to stay fit and have a run of games.

I've only seen him score the goal last week after rounding four players before shooting. That was impressive to say the least.

I read somewhere that they suspect woodburn's foot issues are related to his running style. Multiple fractures have certainly interrupted his progress.

That U-18 team has some really talented players in Layton Stewart, Frauendorf, Balagizi, Koumetio, Jake Cain, Longstaff and Musialowski. Hope their development continues and we end up with 2-3 of them making it to the first team.
