Did anyone see Nat have a go at Kabak? He won a header but bumped into Kabak so he wasn't happy about that. Fair play he did well, he should be kept in my opinion.

I agree barry he should of been integrated into the squad earlier, should be kept as a squad member if he doesn't want to leave .

I would rather keep Phillips than Kabak I know that much, thought Kabak was shocking again.

Give Kabak a bit of time for heaven’s sake?
Judge him at the end of the season.
On the plus side, he’s shown some quality on the ball and recovery pace too.
Credit to Phillips who has let no one down so far,
He’s better off going elsewhere to play regularly each week next season I’d say, unless the club chooses to keep him whilst the CBs who have had long-term injuries are monitored and he’s agreeable.
He looks good enough to play in the Championship but he doesn’t want to be in Liverpool’s reserve teams any more and being permanently sat on the bench is pointless at 24 years of age.

OP, or it could be just a case of miscommunication between both players, something that happens all the time btw two CB's trying to gain some kind of understanding which is key for any CB partnership? Ed01 also said both players are not talkers.

Davies having a go at Kabak means absolutely nothing esp if both players don't talk nor communicate effectively. It also does not mean Phillips should be kept either; What you should be worried about is how both players can gain some kind of understanding moving forward cos they are going to need it.

I was trying although very badly to say how much Phillips has come on as a player in my opinion.

I agree Baz he has done better than I expected. It’s unfair on Kabak as it’s not his fault but not for me. That pairing against Chelsea will not hold up even with Fabs in front. Maybe with have to play 3 at the back when out of possession. Fabs in the middle organising.

Mark, we don't h.

Mark, we don't have the personnel to play with a back 3. We don't have the CB's to even do that and not even sure said CB's can defend in wide areas out in space. If it was an option, Klopp would have done so.

IMO, Kabak and Phillips are who we have right now so no point, worrying about it cos that is the hand we have been dealt. And with Fab in front of them instead of Gini (who is poor at the DM role) will only help them cos the protection will be there or would you rather there be next to no protection for them?

We will see but IMO Klopp will play Fabs in defence he has no choice. Kabak and Phillips won’t be upto it.

My guess is
Fabs and Phillips in defence.
Midfield Milner, Jones and Gini he might even play Keita.

Mark, I don't disagree with that selection or with Klopp play Fab in defence cos he could well do that. I just think it is not right to do so right now esp since Gini is woeful at DM.

Milner, Jones and Wijnaldum is just a recipe for defeat. Chelsea can run through that midfield at will. Only chance of winning is playing with two bona fide centre backs, Fabinho in defensive midfield screening the defence with Wijnaldum and Jones alongside doing the chasing and pressing,

Just sick of midfielders in the back we have 3 center backs why buy them need to get a chance to work and build confidence.
