Has anyone been keeping up with any of our loan players this year? I know elliot's stats are very respectable but how have people actually been playing?

{Ed077's Note - Minamino has been scoring for Southampton on a regular basis. No idea about others. Sorry. Maybe some of the posters can help.}

But Klopp obviously doesn't rate Mini, also why would mini comeback to sit on the bench i wouldn't blame him for wanting to leave.

Awoniyi was finally getting a run of games in the German league and scoring some useful goals and assists, however he has just had a fairly serious injury that will keep him out.

Ojo and Wilson are doing well at Cardiff however i don't think we will see them in a liverpool shirt again.

Gruijc has been restricted to sub appearances in the Porto team, not working out and feel for him about not letting him leave last season.

Elliott well what can i say everything is going well for him has become a key cog in the blackburn team and his contribution has been vital throughout the season, will of grown up a lot and think this was a very productive spell out on loan, should be looking to integrate into the team next year.

{Ed077's Note - Cheers TSR.👏}

Elliott has been sublime. If you read some of the things his team mates are saying, they already see him as the go-to man when things aren't going well or they're in search of a moment of magic.

He will be knocking on the first team door in pre-season.

We need to be careful with Elliot gradually ease him in.

{Ed077's Note - He has time on his side, an lots of it.}

Three more years before Elliott turns 20. I'd like to see how everyone stays away from expecting the sun, sky, and the moon from him. Will be interesting to watch.

Ra, I'd be happy with a goal, you can keep the rest of your inter-planetary musings!

We've had a number of young players who have looked excellent prospects at 18 over the last 10 years. Only really Trent and now Curtis who have become regulars. Fingers crossed Elliot goes in that direction rather than that of Suso, Sinclair, Rossiter, Ibe, Ojo, Wilson, Woodburn etc.

Don't forget Jay Spearing, Jon Flanagan and, going back a little further, the one I had most hope for to follow in Judas and God's footsteps - Neil Mellor.

I wish Suso had gotten a real chance. Very good player and I am happy he made the most of his career at Milan, Genoa and now Seville.

I absolutely hate it when fans disrespect ex players, especially ex players that have won trophy's for us i. e 2001 FA cup.
I was as disappointed as anyone when Owen moved to Madrid, but I appreciated what he had done for the club, and that he had not run his contract down and gone for free.
He realised that he had made a mistake and asked to come back, but Liverpool would not match RMs valuation but Newcastle did. He had no option, but to move to Newcastle. When his contract ran out he asked to come back to Liverpool, but they did not want to sign him. He had 2 offers Hull City and Manchester United. He still wanted to win a league title so he went to Man Utd and won one.
Liverpool had the opportunity to take him back twice so maybe they are the Judas?

All good points, Langland. I'm referring to how Owen has behaved since he retired. One day swinging with Man Utd, another with Liverpool.

I'm sorry, but I do not believe his love for either club, he swings the way the wind blows.
