Thanks for the match review Ed001. I always think you provide a much needed dose of sanity and perspective when reading your reviews and they always remind me of how lucky we are to have our team and manager. I have been a true LFC supporter for longer than I can remember (yes, I am an old git! ) but have never played to a decent standard myself. My question would be this, can't Hendo help the defence by playing in the 6? I feel JK is almost scared of taking Hendo's leadership away from one of the CB positions but it looks like he is missed even more in midfield. Couldn't he "help" say 2 new boys / inexperienced players (being Kabak/ Davies or Kabak/ Philips) by sitting in front of them in his 6 position? None of this is ideal, but it just looks to me (as a non ex-player) that there are perhaps better options at the moment? I would appreciate your thoughts. Despite our recent form, there is still so much to play for and I am really enjoying seeing how we respond to the challenges. If we manage to get something out of this season it will be a truly remarkable achievement but I will forever support this great team and manager and club.

{Ed001's Note - yes, he could be helpful there too. Considering the lack of any other quality alternative there while Fabinho is out, to me it would look the best option.}

I agree Stan. Would much rather see hendo in the 6. Gives us the energy and extra quality in midfield. While screening in front of them defence. Think Davies and Kabak could be a decent partnership.
Although when Fab is back fit I’d play him at CB. I’d love for him to be in midfield but he’s done very well at CB so his experience alongside Kabak with hendo in front will see us over the line and in to the top 4.

Even in defence, he still make those lovely long passes. Maybe he can even do more of those if he is in midfield.

Yeah I agree to got to get Henderson back in midfield and Fabinho when fit. I love Klopp but for me me is weakening are midfield as well as are defence. I think are defence would be better with Henderson and Fabinho back in midfield would give them much more protection Fabinho in front and Henderson covers Trent and I think that might be a big reason for Trent not being at his best this season I can’t remember Henderson playing in the 8 role to much this season.

Even last year with the great run we had it was noticable when Henderson was absent from midfield. Good post Stan.
