I think Guardiola doesn't get enough credit for rebuilding City, and getting the best out of players like Stones, also converting players like Gundogan and building a mean defence, we was soon quick to write them off but give credit where its due.

Building a mean defence? At what bloody cost?!

Laporte - 60mil
Stones - 50mil
Mendy - 50mil
Cancelo - 50mil
Walker 50mil
Ederson 35mil
Dias 60mil

Just a cool 355mil spent in his time there. Yes mate, he doesn’t deserve enough credit for that 🤔.

Shaq we was soon quick enough to write him off with money, you can't have it both ways.

Pep doesn't set the fees or pay the money. However, id like to know if he would if coached robbo into becoming one of the best left backs in football.

Exactly Shaq. Liverpools VVD and Allison big money. Gomez, TAA, Matip, Robertson etc, peanuts. Maybe the OP should be bigging up Klopp on what is basically a minor miracle in comparison.

Doesn’t get enough credit? The guy has had most things handed to him. That’s not to say he ain’t a good manager but let’s be honest. Look at the amount of money he has had handed to him at City. With that money he should be walking the league every season and winning at least one Champions League trophy. Didn’t really build on much towards the end of his Bayern spell, in fact some would say they stood still or even went backwards. Barcelona he was handed a great squad with truly “world class” players and a generational talent. I am yet to see him really rebuild a team or be tested where he is not afforded all the money in the world but that’s just my opinion.
