As a young liverpool fan of 25 years I missed the glory days and only heard about it or read about it. For my first 15 to 20 years as a fan the ways in which Liverpool built me up to let me down slowly demoralised me. These last 6 years under Klopp has been magical. We are now the force and the threat we once were. Last night, like many other nights recently, my LFC let me down BUT can we all just remember the great times we've had recently when we had our backs to wall and no hope seemed to be found. corner taken quickly anybody? We aren't suddenly a crap team and suddenly unable to compete. We are the world and English champions and if we don't retain it this year you can bet we will damn sure avenge it! ( to quote Tony stark) .

LFC has never been a team that does things easy, other than last year, but even then corona almost came and took that away. that's just not our way we do things hard but with passion and I'd have it no other way. that's what made winning all these trophies so sweet because of the struggled to get them.

As for last night and recent form. I can't really explain it. Something isn't right mentally but the same can be said for every team, its just our turn to be under the scope and the reason we are under such intense scrutiny is because of our success. I believe klopp will sort us out because he really is one of the best about right now, a 5 game slump doesn't change that. I'd love to see a cb come in this month as I firmly believe fabinho being in cm is a key to unlock things further up the pitch. These players need the kick up the backside to sort themselves out hopefully last night does that.

Anyways my point is we are still a very good team hit by some rubbish injuries in the weirdest season we will probably ever see.

YNWA.

I'm 27 and the thoughts you've outlined above are exactly the same as mine Scarface. Probably a lot of young fans since birth who have been through the ringer with the Hodgson experiment etc. feel the same. Summarised it well mate good post. Up the reds.
