Has everyone else noticed that we could be as low as fifth place in the league by the time we start our next league match on Sunday afternoon. We were top this time yesterday. First place to fifth without even playing a match just shows how tight the league is at the moment. But then if we win on Sunday, we'd be back top again, regardless of any other results.

In fact, if City and Tottenham both win their matches tonight and on Sunday, and if Leicester and Everton both win at the weekend, and if we then beat Utd; then Liverpool and Utd would both have 36 points and the next four clubs would all have 35 points. A one point spread across the top six with pretty much half the season gone is incredible.

It’s a good season for the neutrals.
The league will go to whatever team can string together a bit of a winning streak or it may remain scrappy until the final day?

Just hope that the league is not decided by poor refereeing/ VAR decisions.
But so far there have been plenty,

This is just a wild one and I’m throwing it out there for others opinions. If Klopp doesn’t want to start Williams or Phillips and is thinking of playing Hendo at centre back then what’s people’s thoughts on using Milner there instead. For me I don’t see what Milner would offer less at centre back than Hendo would (maybe height but it’s not like Hendo is a colossus in the air) and with Hendo then playing in midfield that positive far outweighs the negative of Milner at centre half.
I ain’t picking the side Klopp does so the likelihood is it’s not going to happen but interested to see what others think because only a few weeks ago when I mentioned Hendo might be played at centre back I was told to not be so silly and he wouldn’t play there.

{Ed001's Note - Henderson is very good in the air, Milner is not.}

JK23, putting Milner at CB is really asking for it, don't you think?

Its absolutely nuts Ed025 any team in the top 6 can win this league.

{Ed025's Note - your dead right barry, a lot i feel will come down to squad depth mate as the amount of injuries clubs are getting is rising, a lot of this is down to the amount of games being played at the moment mate..

Oli that’s why I said it’s a wild one mate. But then putting Hendo there instead of in the centre of midfield is also a risky decision for me as well. And a couple of weeks ago fans berated the thought of Hendo actually playing at centre back.

Well Ed025 if you reckon it will come down to squad depth then I fear for Liverpool's chances. Insted it could be going back to the blue side of Manchester but of course I really hope that I am wrong.

{Ed025's Note - i think you may be at your weakest point at this moment in that regard barry, when you get a couple back you will be fine mate..

I don't even think the season will finish. 1500 deaths today. and they are still playing? Disgrace in my opinion.
