I think Shaqiri could be really important for us during this little barren spell we're going through. A little of bit of creativity around the edge of the box is what we need to open defences.

Agreed. But for that he needs to stay fit. He looked decent in the few games he played season. Most importantly working hard. Fingers crossed.

Shaqiri is a luxury player and when you play against teams who park the bus then you can get away with them. There’s no point in having 10 players who can press the ball really well for 90 mins if the opposition only have 30% possession. I think players like Shaqiri and Jota will compliment Thiago even more.

In all fairness shaqiri played his part last nite he hand a good hand in a couple of those goals hope he's in the squad against the devils 11 come next week.

Always liked SpongeBob and I agree with the comments about him bringing something else to the party, especially when we are up against packed defences and penalty areas. We were in a potential lose/ lose situation last night and he played well and provided some good, constructive moves. Fingers crossed he stays fit and available.

And then there’s our magic number 6, what a joy to watch.
