Lol some of the things I've read the past hour or so, on the internet in general. People are acting like it's almost the end of the season! we're not even half way through, forget the dodgy results, this was always going to happen this season, not just for us but for all teams. Just look at the results since the season began. It could be worse, we could be City sat in 8th! but will they be 8th at the end of the season? of course not. Let's not be too quick to judge so soon, judge at the end.

There's more important things in the world going on, a dodgy Liverpool result means absolutely bugger all, we're still on top, players are coming back from injuries and we will remain on top right until the end. Believe.

We have the best squad in the country and arguably the world right now, enjoy it. Remind yourselves how it used to be, rewind 10 or so years ago. It could be worse, there's millions of fans out there for different clubs who would love to be in our shoes right now.

Happy new year to all the eds and to the posters, I hope 2021 brings us all good health and happiness.

Good post Salah, you are spot on in the fact that we are still top and we have a great squad. The only problem is that lots of them are injured! A positive for me last night was Alcantara returning to the pitch, he is a WORLDIE and if we can keep him fit and get Ox some game time, I am confident we will put a run of results together and hopefully finish top of the table come May.
I see no reason why we couldn’t beat the Mancs on the 17th Jan and that’s when the run will start.

Regardless of where we are, 4 points against Brighton, Fulham, West Brom and Newcastle is a poor return. We had a number of opportunities to really take control of the title race over these four games yet blew every one of them, and I don’t think the aftermath of such results can simply be lazily explained away as “fan overreaction”.

Nor at our best up front last night I have to say but. we’ll still be top of the league after every other team has played this weekend (unless United beat Villa by 9 clear goals) . This season was always going to be an odd one - too many games to be played in a short space of time - and I can actually see it being cancelled completely if we start to see too many games being called off.

Good post Salah. Only difference I see this season is you’ve stopped watching games and making the we will stuff them predictions every game. If you can go back to that please in 2021 normal service should be resumed 💪😜.

Hear hear Salah! I only correct your post to 5 and not 10 years ago. More specifically, 24/ 05/ 15 when we lost 6-1 to Stoke.
The achievements of Liverpool this season (taking into account the adversity and conditions) are nothing short of incredible.
Folks need to get some reality and perspective - we drew at Newcastle? We will win at Southampton! Or not - world WILL still keep on turning regardless!
