Firstly.
Difficult times with no fans, the game disruption with VAR and limited squad availability. Still. Watched the game and cheered us on throughout. In the good, the bad and the ugly. I would put that down to unfortunate luck today. (Or a terrible ref choice)
Secondly.
I think Klopp was masterful to bring up what he did after the match. Takes the pressure off the performance (which was ugly) and also brought up the issue that we are on a constant slippery slope of constant injuries (2 from 1 game tackles) mostly muscle.
This will carry on into next season.
Looks likely we will get into the group stage of C/ League.
From that, this season. We will continue to play midweek games into the new year. Along with the 2 games a week of the league and also most of the squad heading off for international duty there will not be a good enough rest time for them. I fear we will have a stretched squad for the see foreseeable future

This is prime time for the kids to step up and stake a claim for a place

On to the next game.

Hendo back! Hopefully Thiago too

Cheers guys

Be safe.

Klopp said Thiago won’t be available for another two games.

I can't help but feel we ain't gunna see a lot of Thiago this year.

Maybe just my suspicious mind but I feel uneasy about it.

We have guys with crystal balls (the big cloudy ones, not what you're thinking), guys with inside info, guys with copter and van sightings and also guys with suspicious and uneasy minds. Glad we're still able to agree on something - LFC supporters .

Mr T, we should count ourselves lucky that Thiago isn’t done for the year with that dreadful challenge that could have done his patella tendon. We will see him in a week cos I think we don’t want to rush him back only for him to have a big setback. Be patient, bro.

I might be wrong here, but I don't think Thiago ever played more than 26/ 27 games a season for Bayern. So he obviously has quite some time out with injuries. if those numbers are correct.

{Ed001's Note - he played 40 last season, 42 the year before, 32 the year before that, before that it was 41, 42 the season before that one. So you are wrong.}

Ed001, as your about, thoughts on VAR?

{Ed001's Note - it is exactly what I feared when I found out it would be run by PGMOL. Mike Riley is an utter ****wit and is the worst thing to happen to football in my lifetime. So long as he has any kind of involvement, the standard of officiating will continue to fall and VAR will be a joke.}

I hope so RM. Maybe I'm just frustrated that we have such a great player that's only played for what feels like 5 mins and seems to have disappeared.

Hopefully they are just wrapping him in cotton wool.
