What's all this emotional nonsense about Firmino?
If he doesn't play because he's rested, dropped or whatever, it isn't the same as him being sold or being thrown on the scrapheap.
He's not guaranteed a starting place especially when there are three players in better form than him. And that's with Mane having a dip recently.
He needs to play his way into the first eleven and not be there on reputation and hard work ALONE.

tell Klopp then, he keeps picking him.

Imagine a world where he took his chance in the first minute yesterday or even if he'd of found the pass to his left for salah to tap in.

He didn't do either Jezza, that's why people are talking about his form. He has been off colour for awhile IMO. If he did this or that is hardly a sound basis for an argument in his defence in reality the fact he did neither justifies the argument for him being given a break.

You miss the point, Faith. Not being a guaranteed starter doesn't mean that we should sell him or that he's on the scrapheap.
The same as folk saying that he should start because of what he CAN do or because of his selfless role.
It's not either or.
There is a lot of middle ground with someone like Firmino he is a proven performer.

For me it is quite clear Firmino is in the worst form of his career for us and i believe he needs a run out of the side the get his head together. It isn’t just the goalscoring, it’s every aspect of his game. He used to be the guy that made attacks happen, now he can barely control a ball. All the qualities that made him special are not there at the moment. We have two players in Jota and Shaqiri who are working their socks off and i believe they deserve starts. You can lecture me all you want about systems and what not but i believe they are two players of a standard high enough to come in for firmino and make the team better, not worse. Firmino’s confidence looks shot and playing him into the ground isn’t going to make it any better. He needs to earn his place in the team, for too long it has been a given as we haven’t had the squad to rotate. Now we do. Give these boys a chance and give bobby a rest and see what happens, otherwise we cannot claim that our squad is truly ran as a meritocracy.

Roberto Firmino failed to produce a shot on target for the fifth Premier League game this season. and failed to create a chance for the fourth match this season.

And it's the third time he's produced 0 of both in the same game.

Firmino came off. We started to struggle. Around that time we weren't winning second balls in midfield anymore and the press was much more lax.

Could be coincidence but these are things which even when playing badly Bobby always does well.

Jk, the guy that gets the assist is not the only player responsible for creating a goal. You come on here every day slating Bobby. He's our Brazilian magician, been fantastic for us, honestly, you sound like a utd fan at times. I hope he doesn't play for Brazil, a rest will do him good. I think we'll see our usual Bobby dazzler after the break.

How come you haven't said, or no one has mentioned? That jota looked well out of his depth yesterdsy and also produced nothing? Very selective with your criticism mate.

Bob is capable of making a goal at any moment. That cross for mane's header was sublime. Who was it against? Toffees? Chelsea?

Personally I think the attack looks a bit flat without Firmino. And sometimes that may be just because he pulls two defenders away with his runs creating space for mane to pass to salah.

Jota has scored, I'm well pleased with him. He needs to be playing. He has 0 assists though. Believe. I haven't seen him create.

Klopp has revolutionised football. Our cf has got one goal. But our wingers are banging in goals for fun (classing jota as winger here too) and we're flying high on Europe and well poised to take the league. A few years back if your cf only got 1 goal, you'd be languishing in mid table.

You wait til the season starts rocking, as we get to the nitty gritty, firmino will stand up and be counted. I believe this because its always been the case in the past.
The winner in the cwc. The goal against psg. He's a superstar and has earned a bit more respect than your blasé posts give him. Sorry to sound harsh, but I'd be like this to asnyone who constantly slates our world class players. He's our best player. Him or Hendo.

I think jota is probably the future of lfc attack. Bobby is getting close to 30, jota 23.but Diogo still has a lot to learn from the master. Bobby was playing real Madrid in the cl final when jota was playing away at Milwall.

For all this Bobbie this and Bobbie that - crap, maybe you people should direct your concerns and grievances to Herr Klopp cos the guy Bobbie does not pick himself, instead going on and on about it to the point of the pulling teeth.
