What a world we live in, injuries are part and parcel of footy, sometimes a line gets crossed but I would like to think it was jus a rash challenge and hopefully no intention meant but social media has gone into overdrive. the age we live in is mental and jus hope people get held accountable soon on all these social media platforms. 🤦‍♂️.

Well said KJ. I don't believe for a million years that he meant that. It was a bad one in the heat of the moment. We have all done stupid things like that.

Pickford now has to live with it and I reckon it will do him more harm not getting punished than it would if he had.

We now have to move on but all these keyboard warriors on social media are taking things well too far.

I was so angry watching that game, but I would never wish pickford any harm apart from being punished by the governing bodies. That's not happening so now we dust ourselves down and get on with it.

I think most of my anger was the disallowed goal, that is bad but like I said in an earlier post we have had VAR go for us plenty and will do again.

Put all of the bad challenges and poor refereeing aside, it was one of the best Darby games I have witnessed for a long time. If VVD had stayed on I think we would have steam rollered them they way we played.

OP, it was not a rash challenge. There is the flaw in your argument. That should not be part and parcel of footie and FIFA have been trying to outlaw such tackles for years now. I got my ankle done going for a 50/ 50 ball with a GK and that was normal as these things happen. That is NOT what happened here.

Now there is definitely no need to go OTT an ask Pickford to be banned for games or weeks and sending death threats to him and his family BUT allow people to vent their frustration and don't tell them not to be angry about something they have a right to be angry about.
