Very bitter pill to swallow today, thought we looked scintillating at times going forward and frail at the back at times. Thought midfield 3 was outstanding and they had to resort to allan making many many tactical fouls.
Teams play to there strengths and obviously DCL is Everton biggest strength and was and obvious tactic to go long early and pick up second balls, we coped fairly well with it but think when Everton actually played a bit it was when they probably most hury us. We can say about the decisions and I think nearly everyone will agree pickford lucky to stay on and the offside call at the end is super tight unfortunately that's the way it goes. Let's dust ourselves off and go again at ajax. Hopefully vvd and thiago will be back soon enough.
YNWA.

Don't think Fabs or Hendo were that good. Seen both play much better.

Not sure about DCL, I think GBH is Evertons biggest strength.

{Ed025's Note - i like that IDOG, but its a mans game mate and you are not that angelic yourselves, mane pretending he got kicked in the head and robbo challenge that was not far off the richarlison one...people who live in glass houses and all that..

Partly hav to agree with ed025, didn't look like much was made of the Robertson kick, but it does look like a bit of a kickout but to say similar to Richarlson is a understatement mate. 🤣🤣 Robertsons looked petulant while Richarlson could have or maybe has lead to a serious injury.

I thought Henderson was great. 🤔.

In reply to KJMain Robertsons was a slide tackle from behind on a player no longer in possession of the ball . While Richarlison deserved his red it was imo a genuine attempt to win the ball . His momentum was the problem.

So we can agree then that two challenges were not in anyway alike.

Robertsons kick not far off Richarlisons tackle. i know its all about opinions but that is laughable. You often refer to tinted glasses but i think you may have yours on with the criticism of mane. given that it was a foul. and he didn't spend half the time rolling round as James.

{Ed025's Note - but he did roll shanks and grabbed his head like he had been butted by big dunc, thats just plain cheating, what im saying is your lot are not exactly whiter than white mate when it comes to bending the rules mate...wake up and smell the roses..

Ed, i don't mind that comment if your not bringing that to print to excuse some of your tackles. Mane got booked for high feet when digne also had high feet and rolled around. Mane was fouled. but you reference his rolling around without the slightest mention of james. Who was embarrassing and waved imaginary cards. It smacks of blinkered hypocrisy. Robbo has rather annoyingly got that petulant side to his game and i think he should have been booked. but the richarlison tackle was dangerous in comparison. I just think it was a poor comparison. I often value your opinion, but not today👍.

{Ed025's Note - i make no excuses for james shanks and i have already decried it on this thread, tackles are subjective im afraid mate and the severity depends on who you support i suppose..

Thanks ed25 for not abusing those with a different opinion to yourself. Its a refreshing change on here from some of those others in power! Id have taken a point today before the game and still satisfied with it. I agree that opinion on tackles are subjective. and that's maybe im more miffed with the offside. that's not just a tight decision that goes either way. he has manipulated technology! Unfortunately for him and us. its clear for all to see.
