It think it's brilliant that Everton are back not only good for football but good for the city. It reminds me of the glory days of the 80's when if Liverpool didn't win it then worst case scenario was that Everton won it so at least then the champions came from Liverpool. Now I know some of it is good banter with Ed025 my adopted Dad but we must remember as well than any significant injuries to the Liverpool squad and Everton could be well laughing their arses off at us. So just be mindful of that before you engage in any jovial banter with a Everton fan lad's YNWA.

{Ed025's Note - hi barry, it would be great if we could get back to the halcyon days of the 80,s when we ruled the domestic footballing world, it as you say would be great for the city mate..

Man Utd were bonkers not to hire Ancelotti years ago. Although I’d much prefer to have Everton topping the table than the Red Devils. Is James the real deal Ed025?

Ed25 as I have told you b4 on a few occasions this season, I am loving how you guys are playing. That midfield is amazing and in the games you have played, no midfield has matched yours, hands down. James is growing in confidence and DCL is on a goal tear right now.

You are beating teams you are better than and supposed to beat and that is the way it is supposed to be. Now from there to making it to Europe or the top 4, is another issue. The issue here is that you are going to need to win games you are not supposed to win going into it and that is where questions will really be asked about this team. Can they handle it? We shall see.

Another issue is that pathetic excuse of a GK that you have. Sorry, the guy has committed more errors leading to goals last season than Karius did in his LFC care and it is NOT going to get any better cos he keeps providing assists to the oppositions and they are happily taking them. He is going to end up killing your hopes this season if not addressed, IMO.

{Ed025's Note - i agree RM, no team who aspires to achieve anything can have a link as weak as pickford, i full expect a manager of carlo,s quality to address the problem very soon mate..

The question is Ed025 would the banter be the same between the fan's? I unfortunately doubt it.

{Ed025's Note - it is with the older breed barry but these young ones cant do banter mate, they trow punches or stab you if you say anything about their team, its probably saying more about society than football though mate..
