I have a question about Kylian Mbappe.

We continue to be linked with him for next summer (according to the Echo, I know! ) and from what little I have seen, he would be amazing as a replacement for one of our front 3, if one of them were to leave next year.

However, my question is about him as a player. He clearly has electric pace but does he have the other attributes to his game that mean he is a world class player even without the pace?

I remember all to recently a certain Mr Owen who, once niggling injuries had put paid to some of his pace, wasn't half the player he was in the late 90s and early 00s.

Does Mbappe have the all round game that justifies his world class tag? I've not seen enough of his games to comment so thought I'd ask you chaps.

He's great player mate, fantastic in fact but is he world class? In my opinion no, he isn't. I've not seen every single game but I've seen enough to comment. Imo he seems lazy as hell in certain games he's completely invisible. He comes across to me as, if it's a big game he wants to make a name for himself, if it's an average game his heart isn't in it. What do I know? I may be reading him wrong but from what I have seen, that's my opinion of him.

Plus I don't like how his attitude is coming across recently, I thought he was better than that. He seems to of let things get to his head somewhat and that I really don't like, thinks he's made it already and all.

He would improve any team, I have no doubt about it but it'd take a good manager to keep him in check.

Salah, he has “made it”. Look at what he’s won. That’s the career most players only dream of. Most people regard him as one of the top 5 players in world football.

from the little i've seen of him, he is very very good. pace is a huge advantage sure, but i think he is special.

Navy, define 'most people'? You mean the media because of his potential?

Salah did you watch the world cup? Mbappe was world class in that I think most people would agree.

I wonder what type of player he would be without his pace. Im not totally sold on him being the best player since Messi as a lot of the hype suggests. His speed and his finishing seem his best assets but Im not sure if he will be so highly rated if his hamstrings start going on him.

He's a fabulous player. Fast, tricky, powerful, with a very clean strike off both feet. Liverpool would be lucky to have him but equally he'd be lucky to be at Liverpool.

Mbappe is a special player but I believe unattainable for Liverpool unfortunately.

Mbappe has been special since he was 14/ 15. City reportedly put in a 40m euro bid for him while he was at the Monaco academy. Need I say more?

As for him signing for LFC well, some are allowed to dream. I dream with my eyes open and it ain't happening.

Mbappe is world class I would say according to 99% of people who have seen him play at least a few times. I think you are in the 1% here Salah.

I'm happy to be he 1% Sean mate, I bet I'm also 1% of people who have actually watched him in games that aren't the world cup/ big games.

Then you'll have seen more of him than me Salah. From what I've seen though, I do think he looks absolutely brilliant. Lightning fast, really powerful, skillful enough and decent finishing.

His pace and power being his biggest attributes, getting him chances others wouldn't.
