Ed02,

With all this talk about us signing Jota, I’ve read online loosely the structure of the payment, as in we’ll only pay roughly 10% in the first year, I’ve seen he’s relatively young.

My question being, why would Wolves sell one of their prized assets on such favorable terms? How highly did they rate him? And how would you rate him?

Regards

Niall.

{Ed002's Note - Wolves FFP punishment means that they have to sell two of their higher valued players and were seeking €50M for Jota. Jorge Mendes was offering him around - but there are also significant agent fees to be paid.}

Thanks for the info, Ed02. I read as well somewhere that PSG have to sell up to 8 players to balance their books. FFP ain't no joke, man.

{Ed002's Note - They are trying very hard to move players on but are learning that clubs don't have the money to buy so they need to be realistic about priced. An example is Taiwo Awoniyi who was priced out of a permanent move and is going back to Germany (Union Berlin) on loan - they are awaiting international clearance.
