Hi Ed001, I saw Klopp mentioned that Leeds man-mark people all over the pitch; you also mentioned we need to prevent them from gaining confidence. Do they actually man-mark for 90 minutes and I’d imagine, press aggressively? Any recent teams of similar style we have faced before?

{Ed001's Note - no one else plays the way Bielsa does, but Klopp knows all about it as his original style was based on it.}

I think it will be a difficult game. A tough and boring 70 minutes but I think our intensity might tire them out. 2-0 win both goals coming after 70 minutes.

If Leeds man mark people all over the pitch then it could prove to be in our benefit. Its quite hard to put 11 men behind the ball if you are man marking and it would mean that Salah and Mane aren't being doubled or trippled up on and Bobby will be pulling his man marker all over the pitch.

Bielsa is a mad scientist. Our boys had better be ready to adapt in real time to whatever Leeds will be throwing at us. As an OM fan, we had Bielsa for a season or two and he is indeed, crazy. he brought the best out of Dimitri Payet and Andre Pierre Gignac, two useless players under the old regime. Be very afraid of "El Loco".

Man-marking works fine if the quality of both teams is equal but players like Salah and Bobby are used to having to deal with two or more markers. I can't see it as a smart way to negate a skillful and individually astute Liverpool side.

Forgive me Ed001, I thought Klopp's original style was based on Wolfgang Frank - at least that is what he has said in the past?

{Ed001's Note - he was his mentor yes. They don't create these ideas out of thin air though. They are developing previous thoughts, which both Bielsa and Frank are working from and have quite similar philosophies. It is like looking at modern music, there are always a number of different influences mixed in there. Unless we are talking about Oasis, in which case it is just a bland copy of the Beatles.}

Wolfgang Frank's idol was Arrigo Sacchi. So is Klopp's.
