Just seen the PL fixtures for the coming season. IMO, at least 5 of the first 10 games (Chelsea, Leicester, Everton, City, Arsenal) will be a madness. LET'S GO!

The AFCON has been pushed back to 2022, last I heard.

I think its disrespectful to call other teams signings rubbish. If we sign a mediocre player we all say klopp will make him better. surely the same can be said for pep, those people saying Torres and Ake are rubbish could very easily be made to eat their words!

History tells us Pep starts off really well but gradually his teams go backwards so can he really improve players the way Klopp does? Saying that Raheem has improved massively with his end product so who knows. Good point though as who’d of thought Robbo would become the best in the world in his position when we signed him.

Ake is rubbish defensively. But I think it's an arrogant signing but perhaps justified. City do not need their defenders to be able to defend as much as they need them to be able to pass the ball and play football. They regularly have 70% possession+ and that 30% is spent most of the time in the opposition's own half.

Still, that may work for 95% of the teams they play. But it's the 5% that has seen them crash out of the champions league, which they really should have won. The year we won the champions league, city were phenomenal. This year they should've won it. It's quite incredible that a team as good as them offensively has not even made the final.

And they have lost something since kompany (an incredible defending defender {you know what I mean} ) and Laporte last season (also another good defender as well as footballer) Ake is not the answer. I'm extremely happy they have signed him.

I know youngred, I realised seconds after I posted. But perhaps the Asian and South American cups will not be held at the same time?

That's a good point. Eds and reds, can you shed any light on this please? Do u poo u know if the Asian and South American cups will be played at the same tkmd? Will we be without Bobby AND taki?
